[You know that Polymorphus Potion thingamawhatsit? Well, guess who's trying it out.
Espio, for his part, rather likes the idea. Partly because it makes things things that should be simple (like, say, buying things) a whole lot easier without the fuss, and partly because it's like a second type of invisibility. He's just irked by the fact this new commander has decided it's now required when going outside of the Garden, when he's never let being a chameleon stop him from leaving the Garden before. Like he's going to obey that pointless rule. He'll use it when it suits him.
Like right now, just before and during lunchtime.
Mission: see if anyone even recognises him.
The biggest problem, though, is that his sense of balance has taken a hit. It's bound to when you suddenly gain two foot and lose a tail, bit that's only part of it - it must be the potion, Espio figures, that's giving him the occasional dizzy spell.
So, as Espio wanders around the hall, trying to get used to a completely different shape, there's the occasional thump, a yelp of surprise more than one of pain, and plenty of complaining.]
Not again!
Anyone'd think I'd forgotten how to walk!
