[Seriously? You have the balls to post an article on his history, but apparently not the balls to post the information correctly. Bet they didn't have the guts to say any of that to his face -- no one would, except Squall and Quistis. And perhaps Rinoa, but she was another thing entirely. Not like he could blame them though. Since then, he had plenty of time to reconsider his actions, who he was, all the decisions he had made at that time.

The news about Galbadia troubled him. Just a slight bit, but you could tell it's there. Last time war came about was with the Sorceresses-- Ultimecia. Right. Not bringing that up again. A moment of weakness he's not likely to forget, or relive this time around. If war did come, he knew where his allegiance would lie.

So he's in the Quad this time around, surprise surprise. Definitely not feeling better and considerably worse for the wear after he taunted several cadets for practice. Unfortunately for him, he didn't come out any better. Not like that would stop him or dig a bit of humility that he's clearly lacking.]

This place has been turning out just fantastic. Couple of arrogant cadets in over their heads trying to mess with me, the inability for people to get their facts straight --

[Never mind that traitor is the appropriate word, he's not going down like that.]

[It had been some time since Tifa was back at Garden. Too long, she had thought. Her home planet and her family were distant memories now. She knew that they'd go on without her, even if she didn't want them to. Cloud would see them safe.

Tifa took in a deep breath, her eyes closing. She smiled a bit to herself.] It's good to be back.

[BBS] Thoughts on Betrayal

[Between the article about Seifer, and his short chat with Rinoa, Espio's been doing some thinking about betrayal, and the effects of it. So, he's gonna just leave a message about his own experience with traitors on the BBS...]

Is it so easy to forgive a traitor?

I've been sold out by a member of my own team - someone I thought of as a friend. Codes to our advanced technology were stolen and sold, and then he deliberately lead us to the dragon's nest with the express intention of having us all killed. This was purely for the sake of money, and did it despite knowing that the enemy probably wouldn't pay him - he took a gamble, and it was with our lives against an extremely powerful army.

However, because our technology had been pirated, it opened a gateway for that army. Without him, they wouldn't have been able to accomplish what they did - they wiped out practically the whole population of an entire planet.

I'll just reiterate that: almost everyone on an entire planet was killed, because this traitor sold us out.

Despite our efforts to lock him away - we don't kill, that's just not our policy - he wriggled free. And he did not learn his lesson - again, he made an agreement with someone known as a villain and, knowing we had something that could easily destroy worlds on its own, attacked us in order to take and sell it. Thankfully, this time nothing worked out in his favour.

I could never forgive someone who gambles so many lives so freely, just for something as trivial as a bit of cash. I don't even know why I bothered to save this guy's life. Probably should have just left him on the floor after he got shot, and let the robots finish him off.
