Special Garden Addition!

Hello students and staff!       This is the resident gardener, Iroh here. I went on a small trip while I was gone and found a very special plant which I brought back to the Garden. There will now be a special addition to the QUAD AREA garden! It's a medicinal garden, very precious. So there are a few rules you will have to follow while you visit it. • No garbage thrown into where the plant grows. There will be nearby bins for that. • No liquids besides water. • No running through it! It is very fickle! • Curfew and other Garden rules still apply. So please, no throwing hot dog wrappers in it! But it is shaded and would be very nice for a picnic or maybe a pot of tea. Hope you enjoy it!

[Applejack is quite fortunate to be unaffected by all the weird stuff happening around her. Oh, sure, the off-worlders seem to be getting stranger and stranger all the time, but as long as her hair doesn't start moving or changing colour, or she suddenly gets the powers of levitation, it's business as usual.

Today, she's finally managed to get some of her family's promotional leaflets for the orchard, and is taking the liberty of distributing them to the people in Fisherman's Horizon and anyone who seems interested.

Basically? She's walking around, looking for suitable people to hand a leaflet to.]

[Oh look, it's a battle maid in the training center, facing down a Grat.]

Mikuru BEAM!

[Instead of the usual eye laser, the Grat is suddenly showered in rose petals. Mikuru wrings her hands, puts one hand up to her eye, and tries again.]

MIKURU BEAM!

[The Grat shakes off the rose petals and starts shuffling towards her. Mikuru gives it a look of terror, pulls twin pistols from the tie of her apron, and starts shooting. She's improved dramatically in her time at Garden but now it's like her aim's regressed to her skills two months ago. The Grat starts backing her up. Help! Or don't; that's fun too!]

A bit more reminiscent of someone else. His mother's disappearance has reignited his fury and indignation about time compression and this situation in general, and he wants some fucking answers.]

Look at me, Garden, look at me actually typing in a manner that reflects my intelligence for a change. I would say it was a harbinger of the apocalypse, had I not already escaped that event.

[At exactly 0600, the Headmaster begins the daily wake-up call over the intercom.]

Good morning, Garden! Today is Thursday, September 1^st. Finals will take place today and tomorrow so we hope you are all prepared.

A two week break will start next Monday to allow for cadets and instructors to rest and enjoy a brief vacation. At the end of the vacation, details regarding the SeeD Field Exam will be released.

I hope you all will reward yourselves with a break before we dive into one of the most important events of your lives. You all deserve it!
