first feather : distraction

[ Raven only arrived recently, and still doesn't know what to do with herself. Her days thus far have consisted of aimless walking around the Garden, choosing her classes, eating, sleeping, and refusing to interact with anyone around her if she could help it. It's getting a bit... tiring.

The only thing she can really think of to do is to get on with her crafts, but she hasn't found any of the tools or materials she needs for crafting jewellery.

A little shopping in Fisherman's Horizon, however, has at least given Raven the chance to buy yarn and needles. She doesn't really knit a lot, and she'd much rather be crafting rings and pendants, but she still does it every now and then. At the very least, it should help her calm down, though anyone who gets a look at her as she knits on a bench in FH may notice the slight tremor, and the way she gnaws on her lower lip. ]

Scenario A

[Fresh off a mission, Yukio's taking a break on one of the many wharves in Fisherman's Horizon. Seated on a rather battered suitcase, he's got a bag of supplies with a variety of bottles, flasks, and boxes at his feet, while in his lap, Yukio has a belt with a number of pouches and little vials attached--like his own version of a utility belt, really.

From the looks of things, he's restocking something or another, but what, exactly, isn't easily obvious from a distance. Sure, it probably makes more sense for him to do this in his room at the inn, but as all work surfaces are currently occupied by books, luggage, and a few potted plants, he may as well come out and enjoy the ocean breeze while he's at it.]


Scenario B

[Truth be told, Yukio hasn't had much time to work on his marksmanship during his travels. Increasing his medical knowledge had been the goal of his international journey, and while he did have the occasional opportunity to practice, he's rather happy to be back in the training center.

Having provoked a crowd of grats into following him, he stops in a clearing with his handguns held at the ready. When he starts firing, his shots are disturbingly accurate--almost as if he's predicting the locations of the monsters around him, even when they are coming at him from behind. At this rate, it won't take him long to clear out the rest of the grats around him...

Well, it looks like his skills haven't gotten rusty at least.]


Scenario C

[Teaching isn't new to Yukio, but unfortunately, he's coming in and starting right smack dab in the middle of the quarter. He's claimed a table in the library for himself and appears to be in the process of comparing his own notes to that of the previous instructor for the course. Additionally, Yukio has lists of the class rosters and several piles of texts in front of him as well.

He's frowning a bit, but whether that's because he's unhappy with something or just concentrating is hard to tell.]

[Dawn's glad she has the opportunity to explore a whole new town! There's not too much to it, but it's still interesting. She'd pretty much expected every nook and cranny - even exploring a few shops here and there. She bought a pair of binoculars, too! It had started to get late when Dawn decided to rest on the Horizon Bridge, looking off into the distance with her binoculars, lying flat on her stomach with her legs twirling around. The sunset was especially beautiful when it set over the ocean, Dawn thought.

Meanwhile, her Luxray is a bit bored. He's busy trying to zap fish in the water with a thunderbolt. Dawn doesn't notice.]
