[For the regular denizens of Balamb Garden, it's an ordinary day...until more off-worlders start showing up, for only a few hours at a time. Unsure what to make of these more temporary visitors, the Garden faculty is holding off on registering them as cadets or offering them jobs.

Mod note, to reiterate:

4th wall characters can only be seen at certain hours of the day. They may appear for two hours a day, or four... or seen only in the early morning... the time doesn't matter to us, but they're not permanently here. They may return to Garden again through the rest of the month, but they're not around 24/7.

Like apped characters, 4th wall characters can't be ridiculously-sized. Transformers, Gundams, and similar concepts/characters will become human-sized (and in the case of mechas, not allowed altogether.)

Players (like you and me) are not allowed to visit Garden. We're breaking the 4th wall, not destroying it altogether!

Apart from this post, 4th wall characters are free to reply to open posts in witchesreign or open logs in concoursec. Apped players have the option of closing their posts to in-game characters only.

All BBS posts are locked to in-game characters only. 4th wall characters do not have access to any sort of logged in posts unless they hijack someone else's log-in---and in those cases, we need to know this beforehand.

For those unfamiliar with the setting, here is more info on Balamb Garden's facilities and layout. Additionally, some of the NPCs around and some player characters may be wearing Balamb Garden's cadet or SeeD uniform.

[This face might be somewhat familiar to you. This is indeed another Kanaya, but with some significant differences. For while, while there are enough similarities in her appearance to identify her as Kanaya, she is quite human. Of fair skin, with dark red hair and brown eyes.

She also happens to be older, appearing to be in her early twenties. She's dressed in in some rather dark clothing, and looking a little worse for wear but her expression is calm as she makes her way around the Garden, murmuring something to herself.]

[So, you could be forgiven for possibly assuming this Ed is the one already here, but after the initial first glance there are still some differences. Namely, this one is a little taller, and he seems to be looking around the Garden as if he just arrived, which he has. He's grumbling to himself about some portal and 'Father' and how he was not expecting to end up here, wherever 'here' is....]

[On an intellectual level, this Ed is totally comfortable with the idea of having alternate universe selves. He's even encountered one of them! If accidental body-hijacking followed by death counts as an encounter, anyway.

On an emotional level - well, he just walked into himself. Quite literally. And pretty forcefully, given his relatively high mass-to-size ratio. He should probably apologise for that, right after he finishes staring.]

[this is a face that you should all recognize, Garden! except that it seems to be clad in unfamiliar clothing - a gray trench coat and a bright red cape and hood instead of the usual furs and green.

she also seems to be completely confused as to where she is. she's wandering the halls, intermittently tugging her hood closer and trailing a hand along the wall. this is definitely not where she ought to be.]

[There sure have been a lot of people flooding into the Garden. That is why Nepeta has taken up her old position by the gates, hoping that perhaps some of them might be familiar faces.

She had just never expected to see one that was too familiar, which is silly, really. She had various versions of her friends from different timelines and different worlds, so why should she negate the possibility of there being more of her out there? In fact, she had received proof that there was a tyrian her out there somewhere.

Either way there is something a little eerie about seeing someone with her face walking around, but once she gets over the shock she becomes filled with curiosity. She hops off from her perch and scampers over to the other Nepeta.]

[This, too may seem like a familiar face to Garden. A Mikuru Asahina wearing a North High uniform. However, she’s definitely freaking out all over the place, crouching as she jolts at every little odd thing she says. You might even hear her squeal, terrified.]

W- w- what am I doing here?

[And with a scream of “Hieeeeee-!”, she’ll freak out even more…]

[Nepeta nearly jumped when she heard that, and she turns in the direction of the voice. Cautiously, she approaches Mikuru, still not having quite distinguished her from the ones she knows.]

Mikuru? What's wrong?

[And here we have what looks to be an entirely troll version of John Egbert + 5 years. He's dressed straight out of final fantasy 7 (which ironically is where he is actually from!) Yes this is a John from a universe where the Homestuck kids and trolls are apart of the terrorist organization known as SCRATCH bent on taking down the evil corporation Shinra and the evil batterwitch who runs it. ]

[To recap: John is a troll (the result of bad mako poisoning), he's 18, and he's kind of an overzealous revolutionary who blows things up!! Come say hello because he is looking mighty apprehensive.]

[Well a troll John isn't something new. There had been one here not too long ago. This one, however, was older and wearing some rather funny clothing.

But a John was a John, and he must be new so she walked up to him.

Hey John. Check it out, Nepeta is even more wee and actually looks...more human? She isn't sporting furry ears, elbows, and her eyes are a little more normal. No whiskers or other catlike features, expect for the tail. She's dressed in her Cadet uniform too.]

[STC Mighty, ladies and gentlemen! Best friend muscleheaded idiot rival of the Garden's pet lizard. Said lizard is nowhere in sight, incidentally. Nor is anyone who looks like they might be from the Special Zone, which is a little confusing.

He's just going to wander off and explore now, greeting whoever passes him. Best to get a feel for the area, right?]

[Jack's just been wandering around, kinda curious about all the visitors. The librarian had seemed pretty certain that just sending anyone from Garden home, one-way trip, would be disastrous, and this is waaaaay more than that. And then he happens to wander by Winry.]

His bright red dinosaur partner might, though - he's so excited that he just ran off without his Tamer, so nobody can stop him from chatting to even dangerous-looking strangers.]

[Rose was reasonably well-versed in finding herself in new places after her travels with the Doctor. So she was perhaps not as frazzled and lost as some of the new arrivals as she explored the Garden. It seemed like some sort of school? She's not sure how she ended up here exactly, only that she had last been with the Doctor trying to get rid of the Daleks and Cybermen. Well, she wouldn't get anywhere without asking around at least, right? So she is asking some npc what the story is, where she is.]

[Speaking of the Doctor, look who's here! Oh yes, he's definitely spotted her. But he has no idea what to make of it just yet, seeing as the last he saw of Rose was when he left her with that human him.
