Fourth wall mingle post

[For the regular denizens of Balamb Garden, it's an ordinary day...until more off-worlders start showing up, for only a few hours at a time. Unsure what to make of these more temporary visitors, the Garden faculty is holding off on registering them as cadets or offering them jobs.

[Maybe someone you know might turn up?]

Mod note, to reiterate:

4th wall characters can only be seen at certain hours of the day. They may appear for two hours a day, or four... or seen only in the early morning... the time doesn't matter to us, but they're not permanently here. They may return to Garden again through the rest of the month, but they're not around 24/7.

Like apped characters, 4th wall characters can't be ridiculously-sized. Transformers, Gundams, and similar concepts/characters will become human-sized (and in the case of mechas, not allowed altogether.)

Players (like you and me) are not allowed to visit Garden. We're breaking the 4th wall, not destroying it altogether!

Apart from this post, 4th wall characters are free to reply to open posts in witchesreign or open logs in concoursec. Apped players have the option of closing their posts to in-game characters only.

All BBS posts are locked to in-game characters only. 4th wall characters do not have access to any sort of logged in posts unless they hijack someone else's log-in---and in those cases, we need to know this beforehand.

For those unfamiliar with the setting, here is more info on Balamb Garden's facilities and layout. Additionally, some of the NPCs around and some player characters may be wearing Balamb Garden's cadet or SeeD uniform.

Aaaaahh. Takato could do that! He's really good at drawing! [Well, he's not, but then Guilmon's not an art critic.] I wonder when he's gonna come find me.

You think he might be? [Guilmon looks thoughtful for a moment, or at least as thoughtful as he ever does.] We should look for him! I bet I can find him before you, Gaomon and Gaomon's Tamer!

Ah, my name's Touma. And perhaps we should stick together to look for him. [He's just concerned that someone will think Guilmon's a harmful monster and attack the little guy...]

[Pfft, how could anyone get that impression from a big yellow-eyed firebreathing dragon with pointy teeth, sharp claws and a Virus attribute?]

Okay, we can be a team! But then Takato's team doesn't have as many people or Digimon on it. Is that still fair?

Perfectly fair. [How is looking for someone a team sport??]

[You wouldn't want anyone to feel left out, would you?] Hnn. Well, if Gaomon and Touma both think it's okay, then Guilmon thinks so too. All right! We're the Takato-finding team! Let's go, let's go, let's go~! [And he's off, out of the classroom. It doesn't occur to him that he should really have told them what Takato looks like first.]

[And they give chase!] What does Takato look like?

[Obviously the most important person in the multiverse and someone doesn't know what he looks like?! Oh well, Guilmon won't hold it against Touma this time.] He's wearing blue today! He wears blue a lot. And goggles, he always wears goggles, 'cause he's a Tamer. And Guilmon is taller than him when I stand up really straight, but when I walk like this we're the same. I guess Touma is even taller than both of us, though! [This is probably the most detailed description anyone has ever gotten out of him.]

[Goggles?? Is Tamer synonymous with "swimmer" in their world or something?]

Alright, that helps narrow things down. [And Touma starts looking, well, lower; Gaomon, though, keeps just looking at eye level.]

[Guilmon is paying more attention to his surroundings than he is to the search, although he pauses occasionally to sniff at the air. After doing it a few times, he nudges Touma with his nose.] Hey, can you see him yet? I can't smell him yet... but maybe Touma can see further than Guilmon can smell, because you're tall. He's hiding really well, huh?

[This would be so much easier, Gaomon thinks, if he had Takato's scent.]

There are any number of places he could be...hiding.

[Not the answer Guilmon wanted. He's starting to actually worry a bit.] Where does Touma think the best hiding place is? We can go there first!

[The training center. But Touma suspects a lost kid would not go wandering in there. He hopes so, at least. Instead, a place a kid would likely prefer to go:] Perhaps the cafeteria? [THIS WAY]
