[For the regular denizens of Balamb Garden, it's an ordinary day...until more off-worlders start showing up, for only a few hours at a time. Unsure what to make of these more temporary visitors, the Garden faculty is holding off on registering them as cadets or offering them jobs.

Mod note, to reiterate:
4th wall characters can only be seen at certain hours of the day. They may appear for two hours a day, or four... or seen only in the early morning... the time doesn't matter to us, but they're not permanently here. They may return to Garden again through the rest of the month, but they're not around 24/7.
Like apped characters, 4th wall characters can't be ridiculously-sized. Transformers, Gundams, and similar concepts/characters will become human-sized (and in the case of mechas, not allowed altogether.)
Players (like you and me) are not allowed to visit Garden. We're breaking the 4th wall, not destroying it altogether!
Apart from this post, 4th wall characters are free to reply to open posts in witchesreign or open logs in concoursec. Apped players have the option of closing their posts to in-game characters only.
All BBS posts are locked to in-game characters only. 4th wall characters do not have access to any sort of logged in posts unless they hijack someone else's log-in---and in those cases, we need to know this beforehand.

For those unfamiliar with the setting, here is more info on Balamb Garden's facilities and layout. Additionally, some of the NPCs around and some player characters may be wearing Balamb Garden's cadet or SeeD uniform.

[There sure have been a lot of people flooding into the Garden. That is why Nepeta has taken up her old position by the gates, hoping that perhaps some of them might be familiar faces.

She had just never expected to see one that was too familiar, which is silly, really. She had various versions of her friends from different timelines and different worlds, so why should she negate the possibility of there being more of her out there? In fact, she had received proof that there was a tyrian her out there somewhere.

Either way there is something a little eerie about seeing someone with her face walking around, but once she gets over the shock she becomes filled with curiosity. She hops off from her perch and scampers over to the other Nepeta.]

Hey there!

[Nepeta shrinks back a little instinctively, not quite sure what to make of this troll with her face. she was familiar with doubles, but had been under the impression that the only people with clones running around were Time players. she certainly wasn't a Time player, and yet here this other her was. it was more than a little unsettling, to say the least.

but...she didn't seem to be hostile for the moment. and it wasn't like she had anything to lose in this weird place]

...hi. You've got my face.

[She giggles a little, unable to resist.] Yea, you'll find people burrowing one another's faces isn't all that odd here.

[Grey coat...bright red cape. Her eyes briefly fall to her shirt to try and seek her symbol out.]

Didya just get here?

[it's partially obscured by her cape, but the bottom half is perfectly visible - and just as gray as her coat.

she smiles a little now, slightly more at ease but still incredibly hesitant.]

Yeah, I did. And I don't think that I'll be really comfortable wherever here is if people are wearing other faces. It's bad enough that nobody asked me before dropping me in!

[There it is. Nepeta has more tact than to look any harder than is necessary but it still leaves her feeling a bit strange. She wonders if this is the Nepeta that the Aradia who had been of indigo blood had known. Or a different one. She knows that doesn't necessarily mean that she's a mutant blood like Karkat, but given the cape the chances seemed higher that that was the case. For a brief moment she wondered if wearing that was dangerous. Then again she went around sporting her blue hat and no one made any assumptions about her being blood blooded.]

You get use to after a while. It's actually sorta fun to see all the diffurent circumstances your furriends come furrom. You're the furst other Nepeta I've seen.

I guess it could be. You're the first other anyone that I've seen! Um. I mean besides Eridan, but I don't think he counts.

[she shrugs and laughs a little] Do you know where here is, exactly? I don't think it's part of the Veil.

Definitely not. And this hasn't nothing to do with SGRUB either. It's a diffurent world and the reason we're here in beclaws of Time Compurression. There is a war going on between some of the humans and some Sorceresses who are the ones behind the Time Compurression. Makes it so everything is all...weird and gateways in space and time open up and dump people here. I don't know the specifics. [And given the way she waves her hand dismissively, she doesn't particularly care to know.]

This place is Balamb Garden and it's a military school that has been taking in some of the newcomers. I imagine at some point you'll get interview and all that and assigned a sponsor if you decide to stay here.

[her eyebrows furrow in confusion as the other Nepeta explains. she doesn't quite understand the specifics of this Time Compression (it sounds way out of her league) but she does get the gist of what's going on]

To be clawfully honest I've had about enough of fighting and wars. Is there some way to just...send me back? I don't think the others'll be too happy when they find out I'm missing.

[She gave a small shake of her head, expression apologetic.]

I'm afuraid not. That's completely up to Time Compurression again. Some people get sent home very quickly. Others remain here fur sweeps. It seems to be random, really.

[her hands clench and unclench, very obviously upset with that answer. they were in a tight spot back in the Veil, but those were her friends. she couldn't just leave them behind.]

...I don't think I like that at all.

Furrom what others have told me, you usually get sent back from the time you were taken but...well I can't really confirm that myself. I'm sorry.

Don't be sorry, it's not your fault! I guess that I'll just have to deal with things the best I can. [she smiles, but it's very obviously fake]

How likely is it that my friends are around here, do you think?

It's very pawsible! New people are coming all the time, and this has been the biggest influx I've seen since I've arrived here. It's always good to keep an eye out.

I'll definitely be doing that. I don't know what they're like in your world, but there's clawsitively some people I'd like to keep an eye on.

Well...Equius, definitely. And if Tavros is here he's probably terrified, so I should check up on him. I don't want to go looking for Terezi, but if she's here somebody needs to keep her away from everyone else until we find Kanaya.

[she twists her lips in concentration, then laughs and shrugs] I guess everybody you'd know, just with different blood colors. That's not very specific, is it? Sorry.
