[Video/Action]IC Intro - A Instructor arrives after having the second best day of her life

[The screen showed someone that hadn't been around a bit, that was for sure. A woman, with very long, blue hair, who was wearing an odd hat. With peaches.

More noticeable than her clothing was the fact that she was visibly beaten up. Dust, bruises, some blood, scratches, she clearly had been through quite some fighting, though she was somehow radiating a smug satisfaction that didn't fit the state of her body at all.]

Hello! I've been away for a bit, doing the usual here and there, so for those who don't know me, I'm Instructor Tenshi Hinanai.

I'll be teaching Geography and, of course, the highest level of magical combat. Don't worry, I'll make sure that even you ordinary, earth-crawling humans can have some chance of passing.

[She nodded, brushing back some of her hair, then smiled at the camera]

That said, we have a nice island here, don't we? Reminds me a lot of home - the islands in actual heaven. But I suppose Islands closest to heaven are pretty good, too, although they got nothing on the real thing, of course. I look forward to returning tomorrow!

[Evidently, this instructor had not deemed it necessary to make herself presentable for the introduction. Just one more sign that her priorities were completely and utterly screwed up beyond help.]



[ACTION Segment]

[Of course, Tenshi could also be encountered in the garden, while she was looking at the place to check if everything was how it used to be. She had been away on a long-ish mission, after all, so who knew what changed? Like above, she likely still hadn't changed.

Particularly lazy-seeming students might find her throwing a head-sized rock at their feet.
And teachers/seeds too, 'to test their reflexes'...]

[How about Greed? He's hanging out in the quad with his feet up, clearly doing something non-education-related on his laptop to judge by his expression. Hurl rock y/n?]

[Not that Tenshi cared for education, it was just a wonderful excuse to get on the nerves of other people. ...Not that she needed excuses, but it was nice to have one, too.

Which meant, yes. Greed seemed to be a perfect target. She snapped her fingers, creating a floating, drill shaped rock, which darted at the floor right next to Greed's feet while spinning rapidly around its own axis!]

[gotgreedy]

[Greed looks up over the top of his laptop, looking a bit puzzled.]

What's with the rock?

[peachhat]

Oh, I missed.

[Tenshi smiled, snapped her finger again, causing a small rock - about an inch in diameter - to appear over it, then spin in the air.]

Should have hit your foot. And this one's for your forehead, can't have slacking here, after all.

[And so, she flicked her finger against the rock, throwing it, well, in the direction of Greed's forehead. The speed wasn't all that fast, mind you.]

[gotgreedy]

[He leans his head to the side, letting the rock shoot past him.]

Hey, if you're trying to flirt, I can get behind the sentiment, but there are better ways.

[As casually as he says this, there's a core of tension beneath his words and in his muscles, as he sets the laptop deliberately aside.]

Oh, I only flirt with disaster, not with earth-bound ones such as yourself. It's altogether more rewarding and entertains me for a longer time.

[She noticed the visible shift in his demeanor and smiled at him cheerfully.]

I'm Tenshi Hinanai.

That's a shame, you're kind of cute. Sounds to me like you've had some deadbeats in your life if you weren't getting any fun out of it.

[He gets to his feet casually, dusting off his coat with exaggerated motions.]

The name's Greed.

Tenshi has no clue how strong Greed is, she's just being herself.

Oh, No, I think the problem'd be me. Male suitors in particular aren't usually good at women that are far stronger than them, and tend to run.

[Well, she was someone that used to live in actual heaven, meaning that all the people living there had been chaste saints, so her experience with that was limited.
She had gathered it mostly from novels and watching humans from above. And, well, her last year or so, too.

Nevertheless, Tenshi's eye lighted up at his name, and her next words were clearly some kind of quote.]

'There are three gates to self-destructive hell: lust, anger, and greed'.
You've shown two of those already, I wonder what it takes to get the third one.

That's true, it's not common for girls to be that strong back home. Here's a different story, though.

But Lust and Wrath are my siblings, not me. Greed means wanting the finer things in life -- women and sex are just two things on the list!

As for the "Islands Closest to Heaven", I think that's just an expression, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not true anyway.

[Well, that one did make her blink. She immediately assumed that Twilight was a kind of youkai, just none she had ever seen before. The pause didn't last long, though. Particularly because the ...horse youkai... looked like she had fought earlier herself. That was good in her book right there. It was a shame she couldn't think of any horse-related proverb.]

A magic specialist, huh? I look forward to roughing you up then, whatever you are. I don't discriminate.

As for the island, the name may just be an expression, but it's false advertisement in my book. It's not even floating way high in the sky.

[A fair assumption. Neither would know, but from an outside perspective this would be far from the first time.

"don't discriminate"? Depending on the context, that could be seen as hypocritical! Now isn't the time to call anyone out on that, though.

It would be hard not to look beat up, not when everyone that could junction was out fighting at least once every three days.]

That might be best saved for later, really, but rest assured I'll be able to learn something from that regardless of the outcome.

I'm not sure what they were thinking when whoever named it came up with that, honestly. I'd certainly expect something heavenly to be very powerful, but not necessarily agressive.

[Tenshi was pretty big on being hypocritical, so that worked out.

And well, Tenshi didn't mind getting beaten up, in a way, so that also worked out! As a work out. And stuff.]

Oh, I'm sure you'll learn a lot, while I'll have fun a lot.

And yes, heavenly beings, such as me, are indeed very powerful. But we can be quite aggressive, too, if we need to be. The problem is more that the beings on the island are all so very... earth-crawling.

That doesn't look too hard. I don't think I could manage it while also hiding the spell's aura, though it's equally likely you've just enchanted the rock instead.

It's holy, not enchanted! That is an important difference. And I can fly without it, too.

[See tired apprentice doctor glance Tenshi over almost disinterestedly, taking in all the bruises and blood and scratches.] Do you need a Cure?

[Tenshi blinked at the tired doctor.]

Are you saying I'm wea-

[At this point she remembered the whole cure thing and what it was. No, he probably was just being a responsible doctor, not someone saying she was weak. Sheesh, that was almost a shame, doctors weren't people that picking fights with made sense! ]

I'm mostly fine, I think, as good as new! I'm pretty indestructable!

[And she was also stupid, evidently.]

[That first reaction gets an eyebrow raise of both confusion and irritation, then "good as new" gets a disbelieving second glance over her. While he concedes that she's in one piece and the cuts and scratches aren't anything major, if that's considered new, he wants a refund. Well. That metaphor got a little weird.

[Nothing's indestructible in his eyes, considering the 'impossible' odds he and his friends have beaten back home, but he's also too tired to really argue this. He just shrugs instead.] Suit yourself. I'm sure you know where to go if you change your mind.

Excuse me. [And... back on the road to the dorms.]

Oh, but I haven't excused you yet.

[And, yes, she followed. it had its perks if one had an ego big enough didn't mind what other people thought too much, so she had no issue following and being a pain.]

You're one of those doctor types, right? [Her question sounded like one from someone that just had a brilliant idea.]

Anyone on your list not getting roughed up by the place? Some people doing really fine? I'm an instructor, so I can know this stuff.

[At first he keeps walking, albeit backwards so as not to be entirely rude, and he gives a nod to her first question, but he pauses to think about her second question.]

... The chocobo.

[He speaks of an enormous red chocobo that appeared in Garden some months ago, if Tenshi had been between missions then, that quickly came to rule the roost, and that... escaped onto the Island and came back fine.]

...you mean these oversize colorful birds that do that dumk WAK-sound, right?

[Tenshi blinked. Then she shrugged. Well, hellcrows were stupid birds too, this just was a different kind of stupid, in her eyes.]

Well, I guess if it can handle the island, it might not be a complete pushover. Shouldn't be hard to get a stupid bird to attack me, at least.

Wark, yes. [This world's chocobo are yellow, making this red one stand out for more than just size, but it sounds the same. He eyes her both suspiciously and incredulously.] So if I end up treating the chocobo [it wouldn't fit through the infirmary doors, Touma realizes], I know who's responsible. Alright.

Well, only if it proves to be as entertaining as you make it sound. If it's not all that much, then I'll obviously not attack it, I'm not a bully.

[Tenshi, admittedly, hadn't paid this world's animal kingdom all that much attention, when it wasn't something that would be interesting enough to fight. She was terrible and egocentric like that. SHe did notice the glance, though, which just made her smile cheerfully. She didn't mind that at all.

Again mostly because she was, well, not exactly a saint. Well, actually she literally was one, but didn't act like one, so close enough.]
