[She's still pretending, but the truth is, she gives as good as she gets. Strange as it might still be to hug Pinkie as a human and not as a fellow pony, Rainbow needs the affection anyway. Garden is nice in a lot of ways, but compared to Ponyville, friendship here comes with a lot more arguments with angry alchemists, and a lot less physical affection.]

[But instead of simply waiting for Rainbow Dash to trot in herself, Pinkie looks right, then left down the hallway before quickly carrying her in and closing the door. She makes sure to lock it, too.]

[She struggles out of Pinkie's grip to rescue her damaged dignity, running her hooves over her leg fur and through her mane to sit it all right.]
