I certainly hope I won't have to continue fighting after suffering a concussion. Nasty things they are. I wouldn't recommend them.

Oh, and I DO expect an answer, because I refuse to go back to battle after this. Only a few people are aware of how much it pains me to make such a statement.

[Grell will be sitting in the cafeteria, a bit in a daze while she tries to sip her beloved orange juice. There is a bandage on the side of her head as she leans her chin into her hand, playing with the straw to her glass. She yawns, because wow, medication is pretty strong in this one.]

You'd think a cure spell could heal a concussion. Useless nonsense, this paramagic. No good for even the most basic things. Well, where are you? I'll be down promptly. Can't have you moving around. Fall risk and that.

My faith in the healing arts is waning. Luckily my natural healing will take care of this concussion in a few more days.

[So it goes that after Grell has been sitting in the cafeteria for a bit, Slughorn hustles over, looking quite overworked and out of breath, to set down a pair of bottles on her table.]

There we go -- one Skull-Strengthening Serum, one Anti-Swelling Solution. This should set you right.

[Grell was nodding off when Slughorn comes by. The bottles don't look all that appetizing. She then looks up to the instructor, unamused.]

You know, when I said I didn't wish to be prodded at, that also silently included not being forced to take more medicine. [She turns the bottles idly, not even going to attempt to drink them.] I expected no less from you, instructor.

Hmph. If you expect me to sit by while someone has a serious injury, think again. Not liking the need to waste my time on these potions doesn't get me out of making them, and not wanting to shouldn't get you out of drinking them.

About a week ago, but I wasn't released until today. Things are clear for the most part.

I understand not wanting to go back. I'm worried the injuries will keep getting worse! If I can't heal, I don't know what I'll do.

Whether or not the injuries will get worse isn't really the case. Knowing that they'll continue is what you should be concerned about.

Don't give me that. You know full well I'd be on that island doing just that if someone hadn't banned me from setting foot on it.

I'm doing my part and following my assignment. Healing duty and playing errand-boy for the team isn't something I'm keen on, but it's better than sitting around refusing to do anything just because something whacked me on the head!

So what you're saying is that healthy cadets shouldn't be allowed to complete this mission because of their inexperience, but weathered SeeDs who sustain injuries should still go out in the field? What a double standard you have! 

You of all people should know that for me to voluntarily want to sit out from the rest of the mission must mean I'm not at one hundred percent. Had you not thought that not being at my best would put others in more danger? Had you bothered to ask the severity of my concussion?

More than likely no, you hadn't.  And I'm pretty sure you don't want me operating my weapon while medicated!

Also, in case you hadn't figured it out yet, you can forget about receiving my assistance with your little project, you prat!

[Her orange juice gets knocked over, which startles Grell and makes her whip her head around in fury.]

[Huh. The orange juice splashed on her... Derpy licks some of the juice from her face.]
