two. ● training center
[After studying for ungodly amounts of hours, Ken finally decided to take a break from the books and go out and do something. One thing led to another and Ken found himself in the Training Center where he met up with a T-Rexaur or the T-Rexaur met up with him... Either way, he's battling it now.
It doesn't appear that he needs any help but feel free to barge in and aid him if you feel like it. ...or, you now, you can watch the kid own the dino.]
Not bad.
{ooc; here's a very short clip of how he fights. You can watch this one too, but it's very spoiler-rific. 2:10 to 5:00 is pretty much all you need to see;;}

[She breaks out of her reverie and almost moves to help (reflex, honest) when she notices... well crap. You seem to be doing just fine on your own. Don't mind her observing your skills (with a budding complex) now.]

Only a few more hits and it'll be down for the count!]
no subject
That is, if she wants a chance in hell of passing any courses here anyway.]
no subject
Oww... That was smart.
[While Ken is recovering from the tail whip, the T-Rexaur takes notice of the person watching and decides to bail out on its fight with Ken to run towards them, roaring.]
no subject
Hey, are you alright? [But even as she says that, she's tugging her spear free of its catches, which unlock easily. Swinging the double headed polearm in front of her, she crouches low, eying the charging beast before leaping into the air and... disappearing.
The T-Rex is left to gaze about in confusion as she lands behind it softly, her eyes going immediately to Ken.]
Anything broken? [The diversionary tactic won't last long, already it's starting to turn at the sound of her voice.]
no subject
[Ken's still rubbing his back but gets up properly and goes to pick up his spear to where it had fallen when he was tossed aside. That was definitely going to be a bruise tomorrow if not something worse. Oh well, its to be expected. T-Rexaurs were suppose to be hard.]
Damn dinosaur, I'll get you for that.
no subject
[She's grinning as she says that, even as the T-Rex turns and gives a fearsome growl.]
no subject
[Using his spear as a temporary crutch as he starts to cast a healing spell. That should ease some of the pain.]
no subject
When it lunges forward, presumably to take off a chunk of her body from the top, she dodges to the side, just barely and takes a whack at it. Predictably, the side swipe bounces harmlessly off the dinosaur's hide and she's forced to duck another lunge of it's great big jaw.]
Don't suppose it has a weakness? Like bash it on the toe and watch it scamper away?

[Well, look at who was watching this entire time! In her defense, Mitsuru was getting ready to jump in, provided she could get Artemisia to manifest. It was while she was digging around in her mind, however, that the dinosaur was quite thoroughly zapped.]
"My apologies for arriving late...But it seems that you handled that well enough on your own."
[Although after saying that, she does give him a look that asks 'and why did you feel the need to fight a dinosaur?']
no subject
[The voice surprises him. Well, maybe not so much the voice as it is that he wasn't expecting to hear Mitsuru's voice. Not here at least. Her gaze eventually meets him and it doesn't take him long to figure out its meaning.]
It's okay... Um. I don't know how you can study so much without getting restless.
no subject
[That's been her standby for the last few weeks, especially with exams looming as a constant threat. And those ever present dreams as well, which have been affecting her more then she'd like to admit.]
"But...An occasional walk can be nice, as well."
[Thus explaining why she's here, although not quite excusing the dinosaur fight.
Yes, she is actually showing a hint of concern for her junior classman. As is evident with what she says next.]
"You're alright, after all that? No injuries or the like?"
no subject
[He nods to what she's been saying. Apparently even the great Mitsuru Kirijo goes out on walks after lots of studying, but to study on top of the feelings of restlessness was something he'd have to learn.]
And I'm alright. My back got hurt but I used a healing spell, so it should be okay.
[Completely down the injury for the sake of hopefully not having her worry about him. It was mostly healed anyway and any bruising and what not could be healed with time and ointments.]
no subject
"And...No difficulties with your Persona, either?"
[She's not quite sure what she wants the answer to be, whether summoning is coming easily to the others, if they're also having difficulties. Artemisia has continued to be difficult, almost as if the Persona has been experiencing growing pains since arriving at Balamb Garden.]
no subject
[To say that there were no difficulties would be a lie. Casting spells seemed to be no different than they were back home, however to use the spell without direct need of his Persona was definitely odd and took time to get used to. Then of course, all important matter of his head reeling after calling forth his Persona.]
...but it was a lot bigger than I remembered and I'm tired from summoning it. I don't think I could call Kala-Nemi as many times as I'd want.
no subject
[She frowns over the rest of that information, considering each piece of it.]
"...Similar to myself, then. I'm still not fully sure on how the rules governing the Persona have changed, although I'm still working on researching it. The Garden library, at least, is quite helpful in that regard. As well as the classes offered here."
no subject
[Ugh. Exams. Ken's been studying for those for the past week and didn't really need to hear about them right now. It was his first break in a good long while.]
Yeah. I really don't understand these "Guardian Forces" fully, but do you think that our Persona that are now GFs will deteriorate our memories? I mean, technically they're ourselves.

Hello, Ken-kun. Mind if I join?
no subject
M, Minato...
[The color drains out of his face and his body freezes in place. The look on his face screams "It can't be".]
no subject
Meanwhile, the T-Rexaur regains its footing, looking mighty pissed at the emo brat who thought freezing it was an awesome idea.]
Uh, Ken-kun, the dinosaur's not down yet...
no subject
[Ken shakes his head; they can talk about this later. The dino needed to go down first. He tightens his grip on his spear and turns around quickly to jab the T-Rexaur in its thigh. Obviously making the T-Rexaur even more agitated.]
