Putting things right [ACTION] + [BBS]
[ACTION A]
[There is a pile outside her dorm room of mostly things that are broken due to the rough tumble Garden took. Broken mirrors, ruined towels, shattered teacups and saucers, and cat toys tangled beyond help. The pile grows each day, little by little, as she sifts through her room. Don't trip on it!]
[ACTION B]
[Grell is walking about the Garden with her cats on a leash, mostly taking a break from putting her room right. Her cats stop to play with a wad of paper, however Grell isn't paying attention to that. Only when the lease becomes taut does she realize they've stopped. She seems pretty wrapped up in her own thoughts up until this point. With a sigh, she snaps her fingers at them a few times.]
Leave it! [The cats come to attention and look to each other, as if truly contemplating on whether or not they should listen. Really, guys?]
[BBS]
I'm offering 100 Gil to anyone who can clear away the pile of broken items from just outside my dormitory.

[He does, after all, think Marco is a decent sort... who would certainly find a way to MAKE such a trip worth his while.]

In the meantime, would you like a refreshment for your efforts, Instructor?

[Though if any a sentence was every purest formality, that one was.]

[She walks inside first, so she could get glasses for them both.] Do have a seat, please.

[Chortling, Slughorn draws up a chair -- or in other words, motions a chair forward with a flick of his wand so he can settle into it.] Quite appreciated, quite.

It's the least I can do! [She sets one glass down for him before sitting herself and setting down her own beverage.] Not many can wave a wand and repair items with a wrist flick.

Magic and paramagic are very different things, my dear. Paramagic, after all, is rigidly defined and closed! Limited by its own nature! You can't repair a broken item, of course, because you can't Draw a repairing spell from a monster. Only your basics -- attack, defense, indirect.
Magic on the other hand, properly wizardly magic, is almost unlimited. If you can't do it and it isn't against the laws of magic, why, you just haven't invented the spell you need.

What of potions, instructor? Potions.

Of course, Potions! The subtlest magical art. Most spells, you understand, are all about speaking an incantation, performing the proper wand motion, and seeing results. But Potions, ah, Potions is all about time, effort, and care. Taking the proper ingredients, using the proper methods, and brewing a liquid infused with magical essence. A spell waiting to go off, but much more than a spell. The work and effort you put in means you can accomplish tasks far exceeding the normal Charm or Transfiguration.
