[Given the closeness, and the sudden upsurge of affection, there is little else he could do at this moment but kiss her.]

[This time, Pinkie isn't as surprised as she was when they first kissed. She does blink, but it isn't out of COMPLETE AND UTTER SHOCK, but it's a pleasant surprise. The kiss is received and reciprocated with her eyes closing and her arms around his neck, allowing the kiss to linger longer.]

[He's in no hurry to break it, especially as fireworks detonate overhead, which seems particularly appropriate. Still, even something as wonderful as this can't last forever, so eventually he does break it, though not eye contact.]

[The fireworks are long forgotten once Pinkie's eyes open again. She thinks Chammy is WAY better than fireworks right now. Pinkie smiles, still hued, but so proud of it! Unsure what to say, but Pinkie is pretty sure her smile says it all.]

[Which just proves his original point, does it not? A smile like that is a grade of A+ no matter HOW you look at it.]

We must get you to the point where you no longer blush. Your skin will turn the same color as your hair and then people will be asking me to share my cotton candy!

Hey, if I had cotton candy, I would TOTALLY share! But...how will you make me not blush anymore? I mean...you know, pointing it out doesn't help!

This is a recipe with only one ingredient! If I continue to kiss you frequently, eventually it will not be embarrassing.

But then if you do that, then it wouldn't be as special, right?!

[Smiling, Champloo lifts one hand to cup her cheek.]

Do you truly think it will be less special, simply because it happens many times?

[Pinkie smiles, leaning into the touch.]

I...guess not?

Think of it like a smile! Is the ten-thousandth smile you bring to a person's face less special than the first?

[Gears are turning in Pnkie's head as she analyzes this.]

So...kisses and smiles are the same value? But then, that means I've been smiling at EVERYONE this whole time! [She gasps and covers her mouth, looking to Champloo in guilt.] I'm soooo sorry! I'll be more careful!

[And then she offers him her best smile, which is wide enough to break any other person's face in two.]

Hardly the same value! Simply things that become no less special over time. For example --

[With a smile that broad on her face, what could he possibly do but kiss her again?]

[Just as Pinkie thought she had this conversation understood, Champloo thwarts her conclusions. But she doesn't dwell on it much as she's kissed again, far less bashful about it. Is that Pinkie smiling into that kiss?

This is really the best lesson ever.]

[Pinkie giggles and shakes her head.]

Nnnoooooooooo! It kinda felt...MORE special! Specialer than special!
