[People up early may spot a panicked looking Gaomon running from the dorms to the infirmary, and then running back with a wheelchair. He's not about to stop, so if you want to chat, better keep up...

[While he's doing this, the following post goes up:]
I realize some of us have been undergoing some odd changes lately, but stealing a disabled person's wheelchair and asking his digimon partner to play along is low.

If you return my wheelchair before first period, I won't push for a court martial.

[Later in the day, Touma's at work in the infirmary. Business as usual, right? Except that he's in a wheelchair and has Gaomon on a ladder getting the high stuff for him. Gaomon looks utterly bewildered at having to do this.

[Gaomon's also helping him get food come lunchtime, and he insists on carrying the tray. Touma may occasionally be spotted standing for very brief periods to get something, before all but falling back down into the chair. He looks resigned to this frustration.]

[Well, as soon as she saw Touma's post on the network, Chika's immediately running to either Touma's room or the infirmary, depending on where she's lucky enough to find him at.]

Touma-kun! What happened!? Are you alright!?

[youngnobelman]

[How about the hallway? Where Touma's already dressed (besides his usual gear, he's also sporting some fingerless gloves), and wheeling off to breakfast. He shrugs dismissively.] Well, someone stole my customized wheelchair. So besides Gaomon apparently having no memory of my illness at all... ["I'm fine."]

... Touma-kun? What are you talking about? You've never been in a wheelchair.

[She's going to keep following him, definitely a bit concerned. He's not one to play a prank after all, so what's going on?]

[youngnobelman]

[Touma raises an eyebrow.] Not you too. I told you some time ago: I've been in this chair basically since I first had trouble walking at the normal developmental stage.

Touma.

[Wow, Chika's actually glaring at him.]

This isn't funny!

[Not that Touma was one to joke, but Chika wasn't really thinking anything through logically right now.]

[youngnobelman]

[Hey now, Touma jokes! ... usually about Masaru. Anyway, he glares back somewhat, though it's not as intense as it could be.] At least we can both agree on that.

Touma? Are you okay? I can help! Where are you, the infirmary?

[youngnobelman]

I'm fine, I'm just in my dorm. If you keep an eye out for my custom wheelchair, that would be help enough; Gaomon's already fetching me one of the loaners from the infirmary.

Okay. I'll bring it to your room for you if I find it. I'm glad Gaomon's helping in the meantime.

[She is sure he didn't need a wheelchair before this, but things had been...strange lately, and if he needed help of course she was willing to do what she could.]

I'm working today, so you can drop it off at the infirmary between your classes if you see it.

Gaomon has been saying some very strange things...

Gaomon seems to be under the impression that not only do I not need a wheelchair, but that my family composition's a lot different from the way it is.

I hope the thief finds it just as hilarious when they can't get timely medical treatment for any injuries because their apprentice doctor can't get to the infirmary and it's Dr. Kadowaki's weekend.

Yes, I'm using one of the infirmary loaners. I'm just concerned that a patient will end up needing it.

With the way that last one came out of nowhere, I'm hesitant to count on that.
