Is anyone good with mathematics? I'm in the remedial class and I still don't know if I'm getting it. It's a lot of information that I never had to learn before. I really would like to know if I am understanding it. - Kory

Starfire! Don't say that you're bored with your classes on the system. It's okay for you to tell them what you're honestly feeling, but not to the entire school. Someone might take it the wrong way.

Really? Thank you very much! It's such a difficult subject and I have to take the regular class in order to finish the curriculum.

I'd like to get the scheduling out of the way now, if at all possible. There's still one thing I'm not quite sure when it's going to be yet, but any time on Saturdays or Sundays will work for me.

We can schedule now, that's fine. I have nothing planned on Saturdays and Sundays so I'm free whenever. I usually try to do some studying for math both days so I don't forget it by Tuesday.

You know, I think that was a problem for someone else a couple of years ago too.

Fortunately, I've become extra proficient with them since then. What times do you have free, we can practice in the library, if you'd like.

I'm glad to hear that. I could definitely use all the help I can get. I'm free after classes and on the weekends. The library is just fine.

What is your best class usually?

I really do appreciate at the help. I really only have basic math skills from before I came here.

My best classes tend to be the ones that require physical training. I like the boxing class when we are moving.

No problem. I did a lot of the finances for my crew, so I got to cheat and breeze through those classes.

[He's actually a little surprised, but he takes note of it.] All right, the best trick is to usually associate the math with word problems to things you grasp easily or are strongly interested in. I think I can manage getting triangles and angles to relate to boxing, the rest might be a little tricky, but I'll try to come up with something.
