Valentines events

Because we've been posting here a lot lately, both the host/ess clubs and the movie screening are going to be in this post under different threads.

Host and hostess clubs: Cafeteria; boys 0800-1200, girls 1330-1630.

Movie screening: Quad; setting up from 2000, film starts 2100 and runs about an hour and a half.

Good. The old man hasn't heard a decent insult in 40 years.

Most of it comes from how he treated his previous Robin. And how he doesn't like the idea of a Robin, because "Batman always works alone."

I don't know what happened before I became Robin and after Mr. Drake quit, but it was enough to make him the most bitter, jaded, despicable... and actually, kind of sad man I know.

[Yeah, that's so different from his own timeline he doesn't even know what to say to that...]

My father is none of those things. Whatever happened in your world, I'm sure he has his reasons.

I hope they were good ones. Otherwise, it's starting to sound like he deserved his fate.

[He sighs, finally glancing over at his collection of sweets.] ... Before we argue some more, you want some tea?

I will not have you speak of my father in that manner.

[And he won't let you change the subject until this is something that is agreed upon.]

Then I won't.

[He means it too. Bilal holds out his pinky.] Your father probably isn't the same guy I work for, anyhow. Not... exactly.

[Just stares at Bilal's hand. What the hell is that boy doing now?]

[Awkward.

He thought Ahki would've known...] You do know how to make a pinky promise, right?

[worthyheir]

[He only learned it in another game thanks to being a pseudo card captor for a week.] Why would you promise something on a pinky?

Because it's sacred.

[This is just getting depressing.] If you make a pinky promise, you can't ever break it.

[Slowly moves like he's going for Bilal's hand.] It's actually quite easy to break a pinky.

[bratbeyond]

[If he breaks Bilal's hand, there will be passive-aggressive notes and very burnt food in the future :c]

It's the principle of the matter! Just do it, okay...?

[He only breaks hands of people that deserve it.]

Do what, exactly?

[bratbeyond]

... Shake my pinky? [holds it out again]

[worthyheir]

[What the fuck sort of weird ritual is this? Fine. He'll take Bilal's pinky like one shakes hands.] Satisfied?

[bratbeyond]

[Bilal gives him a Look.]

Not exactly. Shake my pinky with yours. Like this. [He sighs, going ahead and doing a proper pinky shake.]

[Seriously, this is beyond stupid.] Now what?

[bratbeyond]

... That's it, actually. I just swore that I'll never ever insult your dad again. ["In your presence."]

You can go if you want. Or eat chocolate. I don't really care.

[Just sort of stares at Bilal for a minute before turning around and walking away. Whatever, man...]
