when the elevator's ding alerts the two to its arrival, yuri heads on in. chivalry is dead. ]

[ And Lightning just calmly walks in. Chivalry doesn't exist in her head. Presses the button to go to the 2nd Floor. ]

[ Arches a brow as she follows his line of sight. ]

[ he gives the hatch a little test kick but it doesn't budge. there's probably a trick to it. like the elevator not being in motion. that would be a good start. he glances back over at her. ]

[ She's frowning at the kick. ]

[ he gives it another kick for good measure...except this time, there's a CRACK that makes him pause, foot mid-air for another kick. ]
