[BBS] What's in a Date?
Since we all come from various different backgrounds, I'm curious as to what everyone of age deems a good date?
Are there any cliches where you're from that you want to avoid? Or perhaps customs that are absolutely required? When you want to go formal, do you prefer big and splashy or something quiet and intimate? Of course generally it's best to tailor such a thing to the person you're dating, but what if they're not sure? Do you bring a gift, and what kind, or is that too over the top? Perhaps something from the heart is better.
Anyone got particular favorite date ideas they've been on or wish-dates to fulfill?

It's gotta be intimate, but it can't be just boring sappy shit either. I need something extreme.

As for what to do, usually we hit one of the clubs, dinner and then whatever else we feel like at the time. If it's a first date, the first two are pretty much always done.

Getting her on her own's a good idea, too, but only if her family won't go looking, and especially only if you know the way around. Or she does. Sure, getting lost together can be romantic, but usually it's just a way to give her a headache or scare her off. You don't want to ask for directions.
And try not to run off on her if her father shows up, because that's just rude, and he'll probably send the city guard after you if he doesn't chase after you himself.
ooc: /sobs my character....
I think you just described advice on how someone should seduce me.
Should I be worried?
