Anyone got a gun I can borrow?

It's for practice - I wanna test it out on some grats. I have to take an extra quarter for my major, and I'm thinking of at least trying an actual weapon out. It'll probably be blunt weapons, but I should consider the other options as well - even the ones I didn't do too well with in the Intro class.

And if someone can give me a demo of Indirect magic, I'd appreciate it. That's the magic class I'm leaning towards.

Honestly? No way. The goal is to get a surprise attack in, but even if that worked he'd probably just shrug it off - he controls Chaos, after all.

But... a fight with him would be trial and error. I can't pull that off if I keep focusing purely on unarmed combat - that's already shown itself useless with this guy. I'd have to be able to throw everything at him.

Firearms and projectiles of all kinds are my weak point - I can't stand the things. Not so good with blades, either. Blunt weapons, I can do no problem.

If it'll up the chances even by a fraction, then sure. That's the reason I'm going for indirect magic, too - it was either that or recovery anyway, this just swung the decision.

Besides, I'm bad at it because I don't like it. If I get over it, I could do just fine.

I don't like it because it's long-range - it puts you at both physical and emotional distance from your opponent. It's *cowardly*, far as I see it.

Doesn't stop me from making an effort. It's too unpredictable here to make any guarantees. This Teach has about as much chance of showing up as this Hedgehog.

Besides you never know... if I go back home, there's no guarantee I'll go back to the same time I left, is there?

It's too much to hope for, sure, but there's still a chance that - if I ever go back - I'll go back to the time I originally came from. It's all I can hope for - if I go back to this new timeline, I'll die before I even know about it.
