SPONSORSHIP GAMES: CAPTURE THE FLAG
[In the entrance to the Training center stands a SeeD with a clipboard and a whistle. Once she sees that the participants have gathered, she begins to speak.]
Welcome to the last event of the Sponsorship Games! Today's event is our most anticipated one; the Capture the Flag game, which will take place within the Training Center. Here is how the game will work.
Participants have been divided into two teams, and each team will receive three flags; one which will be located at each teams' forts, and the other two placed within areas near the fort at random posts. The mission of the game is to capture all three flags of the opposing team within getting caught and tagged. Once a player has been physically tagged by someone else from the other team, then the tagged player will be taken out of the game. In this game, anything goes! That means para-magic will be allowed, but there will be no knock-outs or else the team will be disqualified. However, tagging must only be done physically.
The monsters in the TC have not been cleared out, so there are additional obstacles to overcome in combination with trying to get pass the other team to obtain their flags. Once the opposite team's tag has been taken to the fort, the obtainer of the flag then must also return back to their team's own fort with the flag without getting caught. Getting tagged with the team flag will return the flag back to the other team's fort.
The team with the most flags in an hours' time will be the victor of the game!
The teams have been divided as follows:
Team 1:
Katara
Tom
Mercedes
Team 2
Zim
Zuko
Kazuma
Mikuru
Once I blow the whistle, everyone will be given five minutes to take their places. The whistle which follows will indicate the start of the game. Remember, you have one hour to try and obtain as many flags as possible. Good luck!
[The SeeD blows the whistle, and the doors to the Training Center open up to indicate the start of the event.]
As mentioned before, ANYTHING GOES in this game! Magic will be allowed as long as no one gets knocked out. You cannot be tagged with magic, though; any tagging must be done physically (a tap, tackle, etc) in order to get the opponent out of the game.
To capture a flag at the enemy's fort, the person who has managed to break into the fort must comment with a three comment combo:
1) FINDS FLAG
2) TAKES FLAG
3) RUNS
If someone from the opposite team breaks any of the combos, then the flag will be forfeited back to the post it was originally stationed to and the enemy within the fort is up for being tagged. If the combo isn't broken, then the person in possession of the flag must also make it back to their team's fort without being tagged. Being tagged on the way back to the team fort with the flag in possession will cause for the flag to be returned back to its original post.
Team 1's fort will be located near the entrance of the Training Center. Team 2's fort is located at the entrance to the Secret Area. The two other flags outside of the fort will be placed at random posts (tied to trees or foliage) near the corresponding team's forts.
Remember, there are still monsters in the Training Center, so remember that there is that obstacle in the game! They'll pop up randomly, so make sure your character is always on guard.
If there are any questions, send us a PM and we will get back to you ASAP! Good luck to everyone, and have fun!

TEAM ONE GO!
After the whistle blows, she turns to her other members of Team 1.]
I will fly on ahead to find the flag. Distract the others so they do not have the opportunity to find ours.
[Yes. This is her plan.]
Re: TEAM ONE GO!
Hold it. Won't it be better if we protect those flags instead? Not saying that your flying isn't any good---but it'd sure darn make ya obvious.
Re: TEAM ONE GO!
I think we need to be both offensive and defensive. I can stay and protect the flags and use the water to extend my reach to be able to block anyone from taking them; maybe you two should go and try and get the flags on the other team?
Re: TEAM ONE GO!
I thought this game was capture the flag. So I do believe that we must find the flag in order to capture it. Besides... it will be more difficult for them to stop me if I'm in the air.
[Because she'll be in the air, and obviously she believes that is enough to make her a force to be reckoned with.
She then turns to Katara and nods.]
I agree with her plan.
[Thinking the matter is settled (because she says it is), she turns to take a step than leap into the air before her wings start flapping to raise her up so she can fly off down one path.]
Re: TEAM ONE GO!
[He sighs - he doesn't really have that much stake in the game, even if he's sorta-kinda too competitive for his own good - but goes ahead and gives them both a sheepish shrug.] I'll go ahead with Mercedes and make sure no one tries to shoot 'er down in the process.
[... kinda makes someone wonder what kind of games he played back home.]
Re: TEAM ONE GO!
Good luck!
TEAM TWO GO!
At the sound of the whistle he heads out of the fort and into the Training Center to begin looking for the flags.]
Re: TEAM TWO GO!
[Don't lie, Mikuru, we all know you just want to avoid the monsters.]
