[A SeeD stands in the middle of the Quad, holding a clipboard as he addresses all the attendees of the event.]

Welcome to the first event of the Sponsorship Games, the 'Dares Challenge'! This challenge will test how far you will go to help your team succeed in the Sponsorship games. Here is how it will work;

Each member of a team has been randomly assigned a number. Depending on whether the Dare is an individual or team-centric challenge, a number from each team will be selected for these players to complete the assigned dare. The dare must be completed in order to win points for their team; failure to complete the dare will result in no points being awarded for the player's team.

Every dare can win a team a maximum of ten points; points will be distributed according to how well the Dare was carried out. This can depend on how creative the dare was done, if only part of it was completed, how well it was completed and other criteria.

The first team who manages to complete all their dares will be the the winners of the challenge.

Two hours will be given to all participants to fulfill their dares. Good luck to everyone!

[A whistle is blown, before the SeeD begins to recite the numbers and dares.]

[He unconsciously tightens his grip as Damian stands up, but quickly forgets about hanging on as he uses one arm to point in the assumed direction of food, grinning.]

Care for a snack?

[off they go! Damian has absolutely no difficulty walking to the Cafeteria with a passenger in tow.] Only if you eat your weight in sugar.

Hey. [he tries to sound reassuring--for Damian, it's a first:] I've got you. You don't need to be nervous.

Is that a challenge?

I trust you. It's just-- [He leans forward a bit more as he says this.] It's kinda unbalanced, you know?

More like a threat. Eat that much and I will drop you. [still, it's Damian--this is his way of saying, "pff, sure, go for it."]

Yeah, I get it. It's better if I did it for someone really young like Eiko or my kid sister--but this is the best we can do. [if Aang's leaning caused him to go off-balance, Damian barely shows any signs of it.]

Maybe I'll only eat half my body weight. [Regardless, he doesn't plan on eating that much.]

You have a sister? [Yes, he did just ignore everything else Damian said.]

Two, actually. Farah's sixteen and Hajra's nine. [Day's pretty used to Aang's selective hearing by now.] There's also a brother - he's nineteen. I haven't talked about 'em before?

This is the first I've heard about them. [He's not sure if it's a touchy topic, so he stops at that. Damian can continue if he wants to.]

Huh. [he laughs, finally stopping near a food cart] They're just crazy. If they were here... Shar would've been the straight A+ student with fifty million extracurriculars, Farah would've been that kid who's always late for school, and Hajie... well, she's irritating.

[motions for Aang to get off] Here we are.

[ooc | why must he have no happy maskless icons ;; ]

[As he hops off, he's smiling.] They sound nice. [He means it, despite Damian's not-so-nice descriptions.]

Well, it wasn't anything like riding a giant koi fish, but it was still pretty fun. Thanks, Damian.

[At that, Damian's entire face softens.] They really are. I wouldn't have 'em any other way.

.... You know what? I'm not even going to ask how that happened. [because really, Day doesn't want to know] But no problem. Really.

Who knows? Maybe I'll meet them some day.

Suit yourself. [He shrugs and glances over at the food cart.] Want anything? My treat.

I hope so. They'd really like you.

[Hrm... Day taps his chin before picking out two chocolate chip cookies] Those! ... Please?

You think so?

A wise choice, my good sir. [Grinning, he turns to address the vender.] Two of those cookies for me, and two for my chauffeur here, please.

[Huzzah! Damian can't help pumping his fist in the air.] Thanks. What're your favorite kind of cookies 'round here?

[He hands over some money to the vender and passes Damian's cookies to him.] I'd have to say...the ones with the sugar on them! They're really good.

I'll have to try 'em later. [takes the cookies and grins] So let's head onto the next challenge? This one wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.

[Aang eats half of one of his own before replying.] Most of 'em aren't that bad. Except that one with the skirt... [He cringes remembering it.]
