[bbs] heartbending, get ready for it

So. Valentine's Day. What is it?

Is it really that important that the main lobby of Garden is being dressed in red and pink colors? Is the food in the cafeteria safe to eat?

I'm not sure if it's normal or not for my food to be shaped like hearts either...

It's the holiday of love. Or something.

Basically it's a giant excuse for girls to be girly and to demand guys to do the same.

At least none of them got it into their heads to make all about exotic tropical flowers that only grow out of season. So it could be worse.

You clearly must not have a girlfriend mate.

Valentine's Day's not that bad. Just a bunch of people celebrating love and how much they like each other and stuff. Then again, I've always had a girlfriend prior to coming here.

It was on Earth. If you didn't have stuff like Valentine's Day, then what'd you celebrate?
werepanther: ([tom] is that so?)

So less holidays than my world. Consider yourself lucky. We even celebrated sports games.

I don't know, but I think the food looks neat like this. It's different!

But it's so happy looking. Then again...

Not exactly. Maybe you just need to eat more creatively shaped food!

Some stupid event that's supposed to be about love and romance, but actually just acts as an excuse for stores to sell cheap junk in obnoxious red and pink colours.

Kinda like Hallowe'en, except at least Hallowe'en's something everyone gets to enjoy.
