Career Expo event [October 3-5th]

[It's the Career Expo! Headmaster Cid thought it would be a good idea to let cadets have a chance to explore the different specializations provided by Garden. In the Quad, there are booths set up for each specialization. SeeD are manning each of the booths, and they all have little pamphlets and brochures regarding the specialization as well as little freebies such as lame awesome office supplies (think post-it notes, laser pointers, stress balls, frizzbies.) There's also a cotton candy and popcorn machine, just for the cool factor.

Come forth and explore the specializations, cadets!]

[Mod note: Subthreads have all been posted! Cadets are free to mingle around with each other or inquire NPC SeeDs about the specializations. Players are also welcome to create their own subthreads for general interaction in the Quad. Have fun!]

[Bulla honestly hasn't given a lot of thought to her future, but she has at least considered one of her specialties. She's been pretty good at getting interest in clubs she's started up, so there is a chance she might be successful in business. It doesn't hurt to check out the booth]

Hi! So you can be a SeeD and still work in business? That's pretty cool.

Sort of; when you're an international business major, it's all pertaining to SeeD missions. We're the people who Garden sends to the hiring party to work out details about the mission and such. We also tend to be sent out on the more political missions due to our skills in diplomacy.

Oh...I'm not sure if that's something I'd be suited to, then. I get along with a lot of different people, but I don't know if I'm really politics material.

No worries! Not all International Business specialist have to deal with politics-- I'm sure that they'll differentiate those who are better with politics and those who are better with negotiations. You should still check it out!

I might be good at negotiations...I've had lots of practice back at home dealing with difficult people.

That's certainly a lot of difficult people you have to deal with within this specialization. Sounds like you're fit for it!

I'll give it some thought. Probably either this or I could specialize in martial arts.
