[BBS] Fight for your rights
In case not many have heard, there was a recent bill, the "Offworlder Rights Bill", that had not gone through even a review. To me, that further solidifies how little value we have outside these protective walls. Do we not contribute to this world, as any other denizen? We fight, we protect, we do silly things. Do we not bleed when impaled by sharp objects? I can certainly attest to that.
Most days, it's events like this that make me wonder why should I even bother to be complacent. Perhaps it's my time here that has made me soft. How bothersome.
Usually I don't particularly care one way or the other about the bureaucracy in this world, but this topic is far too interesting to not discuss at length. Any thoughts?

The news just reminds me why it's so hard to care about people who hate you for no reason. It's one thing if you have a bad reputation, but another thing entirely if they hate you just for existing, no matter what you do.
I admit, I can't stand seeing people suffer, so I will fight for outsiders if need be. But ultimately, Garden is my home. My priorities lie here.

There certainly is no middle ground. I can certainly see why that group exists.

By "that group" I'm assuming you mean Sol Invictus. It's kind of bad that the only viable options for off-worlders are Sol Invictus or Garden.

I do wonder which are the least of the evils. We have a bit of a bias right now, since we're not part of the faction. If only someone could go undercover...

That said, I don't think Sol Invictus is particularly evil. They're just trying to make a home for themselves, without having to sell out to Garden. You have to admit, as much as Garden's giving us a job here, they're also kind of using the fact we don't have a whole lot of choice.

If you wish to call those rights, then go ahead. It would be foolish, in regards to the latter.

We can still walk around and get stuff though, right?

And it makes getting laid really difficult.

See if I ever recommend anything to you again, Grell.

But back to the point at hand, it's because people fear what they don't know, and it seems to extend beyond planets.

Humans have that sort of stigma, unfortunately. It's what gets them killed.
