[BBS] Fight for your rights

In case not many have heard, there was a recent bill, the "Offworlder Rights Bill", that had not gone through even a review. To me, that further solidifies how little value we have outside these protective walls. Do we not contribute to this world, as any other denizen? We fight, we protect, we do silly things. Do we not bleed when impaled by sharp objects? I can certainly attest to that.

Most days, it's events like this that make me wonder why should I even bother to be complacent. Perhaps it's my time here that has made me soft. How bothersome.

Usually I don't particularly care one way or the other about the bureaucracy in this world, but this topic is far too interesting to not discuss at length. Any thoughts?

More than likely: getting involved with politics, vote, own a business without going through various red tape, get employment outside of Garden without being discriminated...just to name a few.

Why can't we do that stuff? It sounds boring to me anyway, but if I wanted to, why would they stop me?

That sounds like they just want to not like us just because we got here in a different way.

They're a very xenophobic bunch, and rightly so. They don't very much care how we got here, so long as we leave at the earliest opportunity.

That's dumb! If they feel that way, why don't they go defend their own place? It sounds like they don't like their heroes at all!

Now that is very true. I'm sure that everyone has their own set of standards.

Yeah man! I mean, we all have our own stuff, and who knows? We might be able to show them that they're being dumb.

It'll be hard to show them how high their level of idiocy has gotten.

Probably. But they need to remember that if they're actually nice to us, we'll want to do whatever we can to save 'em.
