[BBS; Video] Birthday Time! (backdated to April 1st)

[Pinkie is done with Spring cleaning, and now has an important announcement, which she will attach as a video message on the BBS system:]

ALL CLASSES TODAY ARE CANCEEEELLLLLED!

[FWOOOOOOOOT! That's the sound of her party blower. She's also wearing a party hat that's shiny and sparkly. There are various balloons and decorations all about her, and Gummy is chewing on a balloon, with little success in popping it.]

Today's my birthday, and how can I celebrate it if I'm teaching?! [She pauses, then realizes something.] Oh! Only my Home Ec classes are cancelled. Not ALL classes! Sorry, guys! But for those of you who cannot live without assignments, feel free to come down to my room and show me how many ways you can wrap a present!

But remember! All assignments will not be returned! [She giggles before she waves at the camera, reaching forward to turn it off.]

[A short while later, there's a knock at Pinkie's door. The knocker appears to be a flower basket---a rainbow of flowers bred in every conceivable color, so thick that they hide Aerith's face.]

Action!!

[Just as Pinkie was going under the limbo stick, she sees all those colorful flowers, but upside down. She couldn't see a face!

So Pinkie outstretches her hands so they touch the floor and walks backwards, looking very creepy. If Aerith could see that at all. Just like in The Ring

Are you the flower fairy?!

I'm the flower lady!

[Aerith spins, her braid swinging over the flowers as she tries to spot her friend. Weird.]

Wooooowww...THANK S FLOWER LADY! You can put them next to the cake!

[Aerith does so, arranging the flowers so the colors match up perfectly. She smiles at her arrangement and then turns back to Pinkie Pie.]

You were playing by yourself?

[WHOA. Video system still took some getting used to. And whoever this was had a LOT of energy, and she was pretty decorated. Of course, this was the kind of person that was right up her alley, so she was actually curious about meeting the girl. Of course, this required actually finding her room which, after searching for awhile, she found by the noise].

[Pinkie pops out from a pile of balloons. Did she blow them all up herself? Yes, she did. She throws confetti at her guest.]

SURPRIIIIIIISE!

[And now you can color Fionna pretty surprised, as the last thing she expected was a sneak attack and a high pitched squeal].

Whoa! So you're the Home Ec teacher?

Well, one of two! [Pinkie steps out of the pile, kicking some balloons away in the process. It took forever to get them into one pile...] Welcome to the party! Want some cake? Cupcakes? Cookies? Pretzel?!

Heh, yeah, sure, why not? You seem like you know what you're doing when it comes to this stuff! I think Rainbow Dash mentioned you when I talked to her last!

[Not sure which 'one' you're talking about, but there's ALWAYS more than one of anything when it involves Pinkie!]

OMIGOSH YOUKNOWDASHIE?! How awesome! What did she say?! [Pinkie goes to cut up a cake for her guest. Red velvet with cream cheese icing. All from scratch!]

[Oh, Fionna was thinking about Home Ec instructors and what she would be taking next trimester].

Yeah, totally, we're on the same sponsorship and everything! For now anyway, before she gets that GF thing. She says she knows you back home, though you're a pony there. Not that it matters, because...uh, something about time space flux thing? Twilight said some stuff too, but mostly science junk I don't get.

You could celebrate in the morning, or after classes... I've had class on my birthday through most of my school years, and I'll be working on my birthday this year.

[And so she uses her trusted pogo to head down to the home ec classroom. She's still wearing her party hat. It takes a bit of time to get there, but once she does, Pinkie pokes her head inside.]

HELLO?!

[The kitchen is dark! But Champloo's voice comes from inside.]

Come, Pinkie! Enter! I shall turn on the lights when you are properly positioned!
