[ACTION] PREPARE FOR TAKE OFF!!

[Pinkie is standing next to some new fandangled contraption while preparing for what looks like a flight. She has goggles, a helmet, a backpack (which is really her parachute), knee and elbow pads, and her game face! Nothing can stop her now!

Except someone who may stroll by and distract her with questions.]

As soon as he apologizes for being him, I'll apologize for being me.

No, no. I meant apologize to physics!

[Rainbow looks at both the person she's talking to, and the vehicle said person is piloting.]

Uh....where are they?! [A pause] What did I do?!

And that's NOT a bad thing so don't actually apologize!

[She says that a little more vehemently than one might expect.]

Oh....OKAY THEN!

[She won't have to ask twice!]

But what about physics?!

Well, if you and physics really are disagreeing, I think you're winning.

WOOOOOO! I WON!!

Maybe in this case -- but not against me!

[And Rainbow, satisfied that Pinkie isn't going to splatter on the ground, is off like a shot!]

[OH DARN! She forgot it was a race! Pinkie pedals faster, grinning with fierce determination!]

[Rainbow Dash twists so she's flying belly-up, one hoof behind her head as she waves cheerfully -- and tauntingly -- with the other.]

[Pinkie looks around cautiously (as if anyone was paying attention to them up there) before throwing a Slow spell at Rainbow Dash!]

Hey -- what --

[The world speeds up around her, to Rainbow's horror and shock.]

[Oh ho~! Pinkie is catching up!]

Pinkiiiiieee! [Rainbow Dash shakes a hoof at her in slow-motion.] Oooh, when this spell wears off--!

[She sticks out her tongue as she finally catches up, and then passes her by.]

SEE YOU LATER DASHIE!

[Straining against the spell, Rainbow Dash jinks sideways, and with a powerful if slow beat of her wings, latches onto the very tail of the contraption with her forehooves.]

[OH NO! Gotta pedal faster! PEDALING!! The flying machine goes at its maximum speed, and Pinkie doesn't have a Haste spell on her. Unless she can draw-cast from Rainbow Dash, assuming she's got that spell in her.

But Pinkie is mostly thinking about pedaling faster. She's breaking into a sweat!]

[Rainbow Dash isn't magical enough to have paramagic! Go bug Twilight!]

I'm not letting go! You're not winning like this!

WHAT'S THAT, DASHIE?! I CAN'T HEAR YOU FROM BACK THERE!

[Plus, the wind is just being brutal on her ears.

Pinkie starts to switch and turn some gears in an attempt to land, slowly descending and aiming for a clear area.]

[Not even accounting for the wind, Rainbow assumes Pinkie is just mocking and taunting her! Well, she may be SLOW, but she still is STRONG! Gritting her teeth, she wraps her forelegs around the machine's tail, then bears back against it with all the strength of her wings.]

[By Rainbow Dash pulling back on the fly-o-copter, it makes Pinkie need to pedal faster, but in turn, it tires her out. If Rainbow Dash doesn't let go, Pinkie may just stop pedaling!]

HEY! LET GO!

Not until the spell wears off! Rrrrrrrgh!

[What did you expect, Pinkie? That once slowed, Rainbow Dash would just surrender? NEVER!]
