I am unsure how else to describe it. Emotions are relatively new to me, and describing feelings is quite difficult. I supposed it's more accurate to say I feel warm at thoughts of them, and that I am graced with their presence?

There are a couple options. You could do nothing, though I think, just the fact you've mentioned it here means it's a little late for that. Maybe not, though.

On the other hand, you could maybe start doing nice things for the party you're interested in, see if there's a response, that sort of thing. Keeping things vague, and all.

As for looking more into the business, there's a lot written about it, but not all of it is good, you know? So if you start checking romance novels out of the library, take them with the proverbial grain of salt. Sometimes what's detailed there is exacerbated for reader satisfaction, if you get my meaning.

I believe more examples than a how-to. I was told to seek out romance novels, but to take them with a grain of salt.

Romance novels are the worst way to go about learning things like this, as are the vast majority of any magazine or other literature written for the masses.

They have what might pass as a horendously rushed crash course in the mechanics of copulation but the emotional content of them is mostly forced, badly written and oft times disrespectful of personal boundaries or preferences.

I am afraid I am incapable of copulation, so that will be no help at all. It is entirely an emotional thing on my end.

Someone really needs to teach a class on the multiple aspects of that.

There are a multitude of ways to demonstrate emotional affection for another person, whether it be obvious or subtle. Open discussion with other individuals about their relationships is likely to be the best source for information.

I am an offworlder and an instructor, however, it seems there's a very big difference in how some are treated. The more you look like someone from this world, the more "acceptable" they are. It's a disappointment. But I can't change their minds, only continue moving forward.
