[Those who look around will find him -- surprise -- lounging in a tree in the Quad. He seems... somewhat off today, for those who know him, looking fidgety and uncomfortable and generally just irritated. This obviously means he's a bit more distracted and doesn't quite notice anyone coming up to him straight away...]

We do have our little social gatherings, every so often. But please, do tell me about your world. What was its magic like?

Depends on who's using it. Dragons have different magic from demons, I'm technically magic even though I don't use any. My staff's magic can shrink or grow it any way I want and it doesn't weigh anything down, even though it's probably heavier than Garden itself.

Other than that, you know, the usual. Humans in power deciding they don't like each other and waging wars to kill one and expand, or something like that.

Well, they are in the heavens.

Monks, usually. At least, I think so -- been a while and I never paid much attention to humans.

Monks. Really. Are nuns the equivalent of witches, then?

Great! Just hit up the Quad now or whenever you've got time. I usually stay out here more than in a room and if I'm not there, then I'm in the Training Center.

[The voice is from the very-distinctively-child-like figure in the tree, the tail curling up behind him in true monkey fashion as he twirls the currently-small staff between his fingers.]

Koriand'r, right?

[She walks over to the tree and looks up. Oh there he is! The tail doesn't phase her at all. In fact it reminds her of Garfield]

Hello there! Yes, Koriand'r, but you can call me Kory.

[And all of a sudden a year old chocobo chick flies into the tree too.]

Wark. [That's oddly conspiratorial for a chicobo.]

[Well hello there, little chickobo. Wukong reaches over to pat it on the head. Animals unite and all, right?]

Hungry? I think I've got some seeds somewhere.

[bunnypassingby]

[She's not actually hungry (this is a very healthy, well fed chicobo), but she knows better than to turn down food.] Wark! [She bobs her head enthusiastically.]

[He does a quick dig through his jacket and comes up with a small pouch of seeds. A tug on the strings has it open and he's holding it out in his hand for the little one to eat away.]

[With a delighted squawk, the chicobo starts eating.

[And not a minute after she does so, Mikuru comes running into the quad, looking around worriedly.] Yuko?

[The chicobo is suddenly very still.]

What kind of fun things do you like? I'm asking that because I like sewing and playing games and cooking but maybe you don't find those things very fun filled.
