[The weather is wonderful, the people are relaxing, and best of all? NO CLASSES! Spending a whole three weeks at Obel Lake is different than all the other trips, but that doesn't mean the fun will be any different!

Well, with the addition of ponies, this break will only be a little different. Any good horseshoe jokes about?]

Very hard. But don't give up hope. Even when it seems impossible...there's another way, when all people find each other again.

I hope so. I've never had much hope of seeing them again since I was taken, but I never thought I would be anywhere than with the Citadel either.

[She manages a smile at the thought of maybe seeing her parents and younger brother again]

[Aerith whispered a little prayer for their families, then nodded happily.]

But we're all right now. It's a beautiful day, and I couldn't ask for more sun!

[Koriand'r was quiet as Aerith said the prayer. Her own religion was likely different, as she had seen on Earth, but she had no issues especially when someone was praying for her family as well as their own]

Yes, it is beautiful. And the sun is like Earth. It's closer here than it is on my planet. It's glorious. [She grins. Yep, she likes the sun]

It's wonderful to see it at all. I just don't want to stay too long! I don't think a tan would look good on me.

[She laughed.]

But you look great! You're definitely a sun-person.

Thank you. All my people have this skin tone. The Psions... [She pauses for a moment] call us "sun-worshipers". We can absorb the sun's energy.

But I don't think it would look bad on you if you didn't go too tan, but humans have a tendency to burn if they stay in the sun too long.

You don't like that name, do you?

[Aerith knows how that is. Labels from outsiders really drag someone down, man. She's not technically human either, but...that's not a big deal.]

Maybe I could try it! It does feel nice.

[She plants her umbrella aside and settles down, quieting. This will be a perfectly acceptable way to spend the afternoon.]

Well, I'm sure others call us that as well given that I think we were the most well-known who can do that. But Psions... they are not nice. It is not a good thing to hear something from them.

[She smiles, glad to see Aerith joining her without the umbrella so close by]

It is really nice. The sun is always a good thing.

People really are ready to banish anyone different. Normal's best...those of us who aren't normal...

[She shook her head.]

I'm sorry you've been judged that way. Others on this world are cruel too, but there are more kind voices within the Garden.

The other thing is that normal is subjective. I'm not normal to you and you aren't normal to me, but that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with either of us.
