TO THE LAKE! [OPEN TO ALL!]

[The weather is wonderful, the people are relaxing, and best of all? NO CLASSES! Spending a whole three weeks at Obel Lake is different than all the other trips, but that doesn't mean the fun will be any different!

Well, with the addition of ponies, this break will only be a little different. Any good horseshoe jokes about?]

Snake wanders over. Rather than the full school uniform he seemed rather content to wear, he was in just a pair of swim trunks, showing off all his scales. He kept his towel over his neck, though it occasionally shifted- his snakes were taking a bit of a reprieve from the sun.

He looks the machine over curiously, "'What is it?' wonders Emily." Just the tip of her nose and her darting tongue could be seen from her spot under the towel.

[morphitudinous]

Billy hardly has room to comment, he's looking strange himself with one arm awkwardly sticking out a flotation vest. Instead, he raises an eyebrow at what he thinks is a sign of Emily and Oscar.

"You've never seen a jet ski before? I was going to take it for a ride---it's fast, but all the more exhilarating for it."

[silentscales]

A green tail points out from under the towel to the water, "'It can ride in the ocean, or on the sand?' asks Oscar."

[morphitudinous]

"The ocean," Billy clarifies with a faint smile. "You need motor vehicles with large wheels for sand."

He finishes tying up his flotation vest and shrugs. "Did you want to see it?"

[silentscales]

Snake nods, looking a little excited. He was curious!

[morphitudinous]

"All right. Watch this."

Billy shoved the jet-ski into an appropriate position for takeoff, threw his leg over it, and pushed off. He zoomed around in a rather wide circle, leaving a large spray trail of water in his wake. When he returned to the shore, he was grinning.

"That's what a jet-ski does. It feels great on a humid day. Almost makes you want to jump off into the lake. So...do you want to try?"

[silentscales]

Snake nods enthusiastically, "'I-It looks like fun,' says Emily!" Both snakes stuck their heads out, curiously.

[morphitudinous]

"I'll take you first," Billy offers, sliding to the front of the seat and tossing a vest strapped to the side. "Put that on and climb up."

[silentscales]

Snake puts it on the same way Billy had. He takes off the towel and his snakes wrap around the vest as he gets onto the jet ski.

[morphitudinous]

Billy turns to check on all three passengers, then starts them off with a slow ride. "I can speed up if you'd like. I just don't want anyone falling off."

[silentscales]

Snake nods eagerly, "'We are fine!' says Emily!"

[morphitudinous]

"All right. That was your warning."

Billy accelerates, kicking up a bigger trail of water behind them. He swerves gently, trying not to splatter them. The shore starts to blur in their peripheral vision.

"How's this?" he had to shout over the wave.

[silentscales]

Snake actually lets out a laugh- only one quick burst, not acompanied by a smile, but a laugh none-the-less. He shouts, "'This is fun!' Says Emily!" over the wind as he closes his eyes, enjoying the spray of the water and air in his face.

[morphitudinous]

"Glad to hear it," Billy speeds up, moving them so fast over the waves that they can't even hear each other with shouting anymore. He revels in it, the sunshine and the spray combining for a perfect feeling.

When they've had a long ride, he slows again near the shore. "You're not feeling shaken, are you?"
