[Today, the quad has a new resident.]

[This is not necessarily a good thing.]

[You can ask all sorts of questions: like how did it get here!? Or what does it want?! Or even why is it here in the first place?! And these are all perfectly good questions (with perfectly good answers, mind), but not ones you're going to get an answer just by asking.]

[Because whatever the answers might be, the fact remains that there is a very, very large red chocobo sitting contentedly in front of the quad's stage -- right in the middle of everything, in other words. At the moment, it has its head tucked back and its eyes shut -- it's napping.]

[Then again, who knows how sensitive its hearing is? (There's another good question, and this one might be answered quickly and directly if you care to ask...)]

Piyomon. You... might want to apologize?

Whatever it was that you just said!?

*Because he obviously pissed the gigantic bird off somehow, why else would it be coming over here?*

[The bird stops not far from the pair of them, leans down to face Piyomon, and quite firmly offers a suggestion and/or opinion.]

Kweh.

Yeah, you definitely should apologize.

*Piyomon looks over at the giant bird that was standing over him.*

Umm... kweh?

*Chika sighed. She was pretty sure this wasn't going to end well.*

[wrfiends]

[The bird is waiting. For something.]

[scatterflower]

*And Piyomon is just staring, waiting as well.

Chika's going to ready her digivice in case Piyomon needs a quick escape.*

[wrfiends]

[The chocobo lifts one leg to give Piyomon an almost gentle shove. It isn't precisely being aggressive, mind, just dominant.]

*Okay. That was adorable. Chika can't help but giggle as Piyomon makes it back to his feet.*

Hey! What was that for?!

[wrfiends]

[The chocobo waits patiently for Piyomon to properly acknowledge it as top bird in the pecking order.]

*Piyomon just glares, and Chika lets out another sigh. They were likely going to be here a while.*

[wrfiends]

[The chocobo reaches out to carefully tip Piyomon over again. Yeah, they just might be.]

[scatterflower]

Piyomon. Just apologize or something.

Why?! He's the one that started this!

*Piyomon jumps out of the way, glaring over at the chocobo*

[wrfiends]

[Dodging, huh? Okay, the chocobo leans down to prod him with its massive beak!]

[scatterflower]

*Piyomon lets out a little yelp at that, jumping back after the beak hit him and glaring up at the bird.*

Okay! That's how you want to play? Fine then! Magical Fire!

*Piyomon flapped his wings, and a green vortex of fire spiraled out in front of him towards the giant bird.*

Piyomon! That's going to make things worse!

[wrfiends]

[The chocobo warks in alarm as it jumps back, wings spread, and the smell of burning feathers fills the air.]

[Bristling and drawing itself up, the chocobo begins gathering powers. LOTS of power.]

[scatterflower]

*Piyomon's just going to keep glaring over at the bird for a few moments, while Chika's going to move out of the way, grabbing her digivice in case she needed it.

And she was going to have a nice, long talk with Piyomon later.*

[wrfiends]

[The chocobo gestures with a wing -- and from out of the sky, a flame-wreathed meteor drops straight for Piyomon.]

[scatterflower]

*Well, that wasn't good. At all.

Piyomon jumped out of the way of that meteor and glared over at the bird again, before sending over another burst of magical fire over at it.

Or at least, that's what Piyomon would've done, if he didn't get sucked into Chika's digivice.*

Chika! Let me out so I can take care of that thing!

No. You're going to get yourself killed at this rate. Besides, you shot him first.

*She turns to look over at the bird.*

Sorry about him. He obviously doesn't know how to be polite.

*Now, hopefully the bird understood human, or there might be a bit more trouble.*
