Hello Balamb Garden!
I don't know if there're any other archers in Garden, but my roommate (Artemis Crock) went back home while I was on my field trip and left behind some of her stuff, like her archery equipment and so forth. If anyone's interested in learning archery, I'd be more than happy to teach them next Quarter.

They'd have to wait a little bit longer, since I'm studying for my field exam, but I'd be more than happy to show you what I know when I can. ♥

Vote for Rapunzel for Homecoming Princess!

[Campaign month is in full swing! Cissie's painted a pink & purple banner that's currently hanging in the cafeteria with the words "VOTE FOR RAPUNZEL FOR HOMECOMING PRINCESS!" and the sun motif that had also been on Rapunzel's birthday lanterns.

She's also set up a booth underneath the sign, decorated in the same pink & purple colors, with a host of sweets & lemonade for people to taste. Get a cookie and get a flyer reminding you to vote when the time comes closer!

For someone who's not super into campaigning, she seems to be enjoying herself. Those cookies and brownies won't eat themselves, you know!]

Hey 'Punz! [She grins, holding out a chocolate chip cookie. It even has one of the campaign stickers attached to the cellophane!] Glad you like it. And sure, I'll let you know about archery lessons and if I need help.

I promise, it's more fun than exhausting, so I think I've got it for now. [Cissie's not stubborn, or stupid, so she knows her limits. Currently, they haven't been reached yet.]

I do! [She beams and nods in approval, taking the offered cookie with a smile.]

That would be great. I know you offered to help and all but I don't want you doing too much when you're getting ready to graduate soon and all.

It's really not a big deal. [She grins, helping herself to a cookie.] Teaching you archery would actually be more work, since I've gotten help from some other people.

Plus, I already know the material for most of my classes this Quarter.

Oh, really? That's great that there is interest, at least! I had my frying pan back home but, well, with weapons training here it's probably not a bad idea to look into other ones too.

Wait, your weapon's a frying pan? [She can't help laughing, though it's more out of shock than any real malice.] Oh, wow, I would've never thought of that.

Does it knock out monsters pretty well?

Well, it was the closest thing at hand when Eugene climbed through the window of my tower. And it seemed effective enough when I hit him over the head with it, so I took it with me when we went to see the fl--the lanterns.

[A small, almost apologetic smile as she gives a light laugh herself at the memory.]

I'm not sure it will work as well against monsters though.

Eugene what. [She doesn't mind Eugene normally, since she knows he's got a good heart under there, but... really? Eugene, what even.]

Please tell me he didn't try anything.

He was looking for somewhere to hide from the guards and found my tower. He scared me so I kind of hit him and hid him in my wardrobe until Mother left. I made a deal with him that I would give him back his satchel bag if he took me to see the lanterns and brought me back to the tower safely.

Oh. So it was... [she sighs of relief.] Okay, that's cool. At least you could defend yourself.

[Thoughtfully:] Doesn't mean I won't teach you archery, though. I've wanted someone to practice with for a while, especially since Artemis went home.

I totally did! Except, Mother still didn't seem to think I could handle myself out there. That's why I just waited until she left and then I went out.

Archery seems like fun, if you're up for teaching me, I mean. [And given her hair and all, she probably has pretty decent arm strength to pull at the bow. That and the concept art of her with one. Practically canon weapon there.]

[She stops for a moment to size Rapunzel up. Ciss knows she's good at the bow, but teaching's a whole new ballgame...] I'm very up for teaching you! It'll just have to wait until after Homecoming.

Do you want a brownie or a cookie? I made them in the shape of those suns you paint a lot. [She grins, holding one sun-shaped sugar cookie up.]

Sure. It'll be busy getting ready for it and with classes again anyway, so I don't mind waiting.

Oh. Yes, they are! They look really neat! I do paint the sun quite a bit. I saw it a lot around Corona, so I guess it makes sense to me why now. I think it's their symbol or emblem or something.

[She explains as she reaches and takes a cookie.]

It's a pretty symbol if it is. [It certainly looks like it could be a royal emblem!] I don't think I've seen anything like it before.

It is. I found I really liked it, I guess now that makes more sense, knowing I'm their Lost Princess....

Wait... I think you've told me this before, but you're the Princess? So those lanterns they had every year...

Were they all for you?

I am the Lost Princess of Corona. They released the lanterns every year on my birthday to guide me back home. Even after so long...they never gave up.

Oh wow... [she whistles softly just thinking about it.] I had no idea. I can't believe they went to all that trouble for so many years.

I didn't know either, and initially I guess I didn't think too much about it when Eugene mentioned they were for their princess. I just hope I make it back and I don't disappoint them all.

I don't think you'll disappoint them. If anything, I think they'll be relieved to know you're still alive.

Well, yeah. It has been a while.
