Hello Balamb Garden!
I don't know if there're any other archers in Garden, but my roommate (Artemis Crock) went back home while I was on my field trip and left behind some of her stuff, like her archery equipment and so forth. If anyone's interested in learning archery, I'd be more than happy to teach them next Quarter.

They'd have to wait a little bit longer, since I'm studying for my field exam, but I'd be more than happy to show you what I know when I can. ♥

Vote for Rapunzel for Homecoming Princess!

[Campaign month is in full swing! Cissie's painted a pink & purple banner that's currently hanging in the cafeteria with the words "VOTE FOR RAPUNZEL FOR HOMECOMING PRINCESS!" and the sun motif that had also been on Rapunzel's birthday lanterns.

She's also set up a booth underneath the sign, decorated in the same pink & purple colors, with a host of sweets & lemonade for people to taste. Get a cookie and get a flyer reminding you to vote when the time comes closer!

For someone who's not super into campaigning, she seems to be enjoying herself. Those cookies and brownies won't eat themselves, you know!]

Well... where's the booth at?

[Because heading to one of the busy or packed areas of the Garden isn't really on her list of things she'd like to do when she's nervous!]

The cafeteria! I'll be there even after dinner, if you want to wait for the crowds to thin out :)

[She remembers! Which is also why she's suggesting lesser-crowded times.]

[Oh, and now she's glad that this is over the board becasue her face is a bit red at the fact that she did remember.]

[Later in the afternoon, when the rest of the students where enjoying the leisure of not having any classes, or heading to their rooms to rest, relax or do homework, Ronnae made her way to go down and meet with Cissie.

After a few moments, Ronnae turned the corner into the cafeteria donning her usual thick hoodie and looking like a timid sheep around the place. That is until she saw Cissie and a small smile spread on her face as she made her way towards her.]

Hey, you putting a lot of effort into this whole thing huh?

[Cissie can't help smiling back. She doesn't have too much food left - she'll have to replace it later, before the dinner rush - but she has enough saved for a few people.]

Of course! One of my best friends's in the running, so it's the least I could do. [She smiles, handing over a brownie on a napkin.] Tell me what you think?

[Ronnae wasn't much for sweets, opting often for the savory, but there were a few things she liked to indulge in and one of those was chocolate!

She smiled and took the brownie gently before taking a small bite and soon after taking a slightly bigger bite with a big smile.]

These are good!

Really? That's good! I want people to remember so they can vote for her during the dance. [She beams, already getting the rest of the food ready.]

As much as Homecoming can be a drag, it's kinda fun to campaign for people - especially if they deserve their nomination.

I don't know much about them truthfully... I... the one I experienced back home wasn't really pleasant. [She admitted a bit embarrassed as she looked away.]

A-anyways, this one seems like it'll be fun at least.

Really? [She sighs, making a face.] Cheerleaders have that effect on people. I can't blame you too much.

Thankfully, we don't have those around here.

[Ronnae offered a small smile and decided to keep the encounter with the trio earlier this week to herself. No need to be a downer.]

It's okay, like I said, I'm sure this one will be really nice. I'm actually looking forward to it!

I am too. [Which is obvious, considering she's going to a lot of effort for the campaign!] The dance is usually "eh" but the campaigns are fun - plus, you meet a lot of people this way.

[Ronnae smiled, she wished she could be this enthusiastic about meeting people.]

I bet! I mean it must be if so many have been going through all of this. Seems like it'll be a good competition all around.

I think so, yeah! None of the Princes really want their title, so their campaigns have been weird, but people've been good sports about it so far.

[Ronnae nodded.] So I've noticed... I wonder why they don't. Is there something more to it other than gaining the title and such during the dance?

Not really. They just show up, get a crown, and they're considered a Prince for a year... It's not much, to be honest.

Does it come with royalties and perks too? [You'll have to forgive her, she assumes the title means something more.]

Nope. You just get the satisfaction of winning.

Oh! So it's more for the novelty of the events? That's interesting, and kind of fun.

That's one way to put it, yeah. [she giggles, taking another cookie] The boys're throwing a fit about nothing.

Now that I know this, it does seem kind of silly to fret over it...

Then again...

I... I'd be too scared to participate in something as such... All those people, and being in the stage?

[Ronnae looked down timidly and shook her head.]

N-no, too much for me...

[Gently, Cissie reaches over and pats her friend's shoulder.] It's okay. I know it's not your thing - and really, it shouldn't be as much of a spectacle as it is.

It's fun and all, but Garden can take it a little far.
