Okay so... by some work of some powerful sorceress he's been brought here to be in this military school as a cadet? It sounds sort of like one of those dreams that are really actually nightmares. Except you can't wake up from it. And the things about powers. Okay, maybe he should be flying around--

CRASH.

Okay where did this tree come from.

He collides right into the tree, falls down a few branches, and eventually hits the ground. On his face. Okay. If he wasn't half-ghost that could have reaaally hurt. Moreso than it did. ]

[Lots of concern for his health and well-being from the pastel pony, as she's paused in passing by to watch him pick himself up]

[ Woah hey a pony! A talking blue one to boot ... Not the craziest thing he's seen but most of the crazy things have been ghosts.

He picks himself up and "brushes" himself off. He then looks at the pony again. ]

Are you talking about this?

[ And to show he lifts himself up and starts floating. ]

[She'd crashed enough to know that a little tumble like that is nothing to worry about.]

[She spreads her own wings to start flying around him, trying to figure out how he's doing that. Including waving a hoof above him to check for strings.]

[Kirby rushes over to Danny when he sees the boy crash into a tree.]

[Danny had just been sitting under a tree, studying, when suddenly the tree shakes a few times and a boy crashes to the ground right in front of him.

Not just any boy, though, he quickly realizes when he spots the boy's hair and strange outfit. It was the strange white-haired version of not-him who had been here a while ago.

Balamb Garden's a mercenary school that churns out all kinds of military-types known as "SeeDs." They take in off-worlders for reasons I still don't understand, and I've been here for forever. :/

It's a good thing we end up here and not say, Esthar, because the rest of this world kind of hates us.

[ Compared to almost everything else he's done it really isn't.

He watches as she flies around him trying to figure out how he's able yo float like this. ]

[ Danny rubs his head before looking up at the Kirby. Okaaay. Guy with... a lot of pink. ]

[ Once Danny lifts his face from the ground he spots the guy... with black hair.. and blue eyes and... hey wait a minute why do you look exactly like Danny Fenton? Did that crash cause him to split? No... that doesn't make any sense. ]

Does it have anything to do with this... "sorceress" that they explained in the letter? Just how long are they planning on keeping us here?

[She promptly draws closer to poke him with a hoof. If he's really a ghost, he won't be solid, she reasons! (Of course, she neglects to consider that he did just collide with a tree...)]

[ Danny gives her a questioning look when she pokes him. He doesn't think about going intangible to show that he's a ghost (because if he was smart enough to go intangible when he should it wouldn't have crashed into the tree to begin with). ]

You're not a ghost! Ghosts aren't really THERE. [She glares at him suspiciously.]

[ So that's what she was doing. Welp! ]

Oh really? If I wasn't a ghost could I do this?

[ One minute he's there. And the next minute he's not when he goes invisible. ]

[She crosses her forelegs, not convinced.]

You could be using invisibility magic or something!

[ ... You're kidding right? Well, luckily Danny has a few more tricks up his sleeves! He stops becoming invisible and folds his arms himself. ]

Okay. Then how do you want me to prove it to you.

Well... if you're a ghost, shouldn't you be haunting someone or something?

Uh.. well.. that's what bad ghosts do. Good ghosts like me don't do those sort of thing. But if you really want me to prove it to you I can overshadow you.

Wait, if only bad ghosts haunt, what do good ghosts do? And what's overshadowing?

Well.. back home the good ghosts put the bad ghosts because in the Ghost Zone where they belonged. And uh... Overshadowing is when a ghost goes into someone's [ Or as it would be in this case, some...pegasus? ] body and takes it over.

Are you just pulling my tail? I'm DEFINITELY not sure I should let you take over my body! You might do something... uncool. Then that gossip person will spread it all over school.

It's a zone back home that parallels m-- the human world back home.

[ Though speaking of tails he could also make his legs into a wispy tail. Would that show he's a ghost? and A gossip girl? Kind of sounds like one of those popular girls from his school. Huh. ]

[She drops back down to the floor, tugs her wings in tight against her body, and shuts her eyes.]
