[Snow had been lying low for a while, quite unlike the congenial martial arts instructor. If you know enough, 'why' is an easy question to answer.]

[But he'd let himself do that for too long. So during lunch he'd hared off to Balamb Town, hit a couple of shops, and come back...]

[Now Snow's hanging out by the directory in the lobby, leaning against as he watches people go by. To those people, he lobs something nice he'd picked up -- honing oil and a sharpening stone if he knows you're specialized in bladed weapons, for example, or a magic stone if you're a paramagic specialist. He has a pretty good stash, and keeps better tabs on the students than you'd think, so chances are he's got something you might like.]

[Mikuru wanders by with a camera in hand, taking artsy photos of the lines on the floor, the plants, wide shots of people coming and going through the entrance...]

[It'd been a while since Tom'd seen Snow. Too long, actually... so when Tom notices the other guy on his way out towards town, he can't help grinning and walking over.]

[Cid's actually on his way to town when he spots Snow heading in the opposite direction. The two men haven't spoken in some time, but considering what's happened--oh, Cid keeps an eye on the roster--he thinks that perhaps now would be a good opportunity to finally break that silence.]

Snow. It's been quite some time.

[ Not exactly a "long time no see," but considering this woman's attitude... maybe it's been not quite long enough. Her eyes catch at the sight of the tall blonde, but then slide right away again... and to the people exiting the cafeteria, which is the exact moment she stops in her tracks and belatedly realizes that she's missed lunch entirely.

Basically, in other words, there's no way they're going to have any more of that thing she likes.

... What a sad day. :( ]

[It's not obvious right away, seeing as any onlooker would have to spot him in the crowd first, but one of the students who just left the cafeteria is walking rather stiffly. What with studies, research, paint and other annoyances, automail maintenance has been the furthest thing from his mind. And still isn't a top priority, if the notebook he's engrossed in is any indication.

He's paying barely enough attention to his surroundings that he avoids walking into the absurdly tall man standing around in the lobby. Then he has to stop for a moment and look sideways at the guy, because... yeah. It's okay, though; only the same absurdly tall person he bumped into once a while ago, so he doesn't have to feel newly inadequate. Uh, probably. Sort of hard to see his face from down here.]

[Gakupo is just passing by, going out to the town before he spots Snow. He stops upon realizing what he was holding. Now he's backing up and approaching really fast!]

Is that a magic stone?! [He looks at it in awe...wow...he's totally making this face.]
