[Oh look, another new student! 

Don't mind Ariel, she's just fascinated by her new surroundings and it's quite clear that she's never worn a uniform before. It looks.. a little strange, especially with the yellow bow tie portion tied in her hair, rather than around her neck. Needless to say, she's attracting some odd looks from the other students.

She'd spent a large portion of the morning getting lost and is currently in the cafeteria, staring in awe at what is on offer in terms of food. She's pretty much starving but is frowning in confusion and hesitating about approaching the counter.]

Um.. so people eat dogs here? Oh gosh..

[She's looking at the word "Hot Dog" and is feeling all kinds of freaked out. And, yes, she is talking to herself. The cafeteria staff are also most likely giving her odd stares as she continues mumbling to herself.

Help a mermaid out, anyone?]

Ok, sure! [She understands - being called "Princess" sort of puts you above the other people around you and that wasn't something Ariel wanted at all.]

September.. [She murmurs, mentally recalling how humans count the passing time. She nods and smiles.]

Quarter..? [She picks up a piece of lettuce and delicately takes a bite - She knows that she should probably eat with the utensils, but she still can't get over the fact that a fork isn't a hair styling device.]

Yeah, it's been a few months now. [She shrugs, tucking in herself and apparently not finding Rapunzel eating with her hands odd. Some foods were supposed to be eaten like that, maybe Ariel came from a different culture or something where they ate everything by hand.]

It's a period where they teach classes and then the next Quater, I think it's three months or so, you can choose other classes to take.

[Ariel continues to eat, picking at things on her plate at random, examining them a little before popping them in to her mouth.]

How do you like it here, Rapunzel?

[She nodded at Rapunzel's explanation of what a quarter was and smiled.]

I'm looking forward to learning new things~ I can't wait to go to my first class!

Oh, I like it! I've met so many new people and friends that I wouldn't have otherwise if I hadn't arrived here!

[Taking a mouthful of her food herself, though with her cutlery.]

You should also check out the library, you can learn a lot from all the books there too!
