[After the orders were given during Saturday's announcement, SeeDs Vriska Serket and Grell Sutcliffe had been privately briefed on the mission they were to supervise and assess, as had Nida, who was specifically in charge of assessing the would-be piloting specialist on this mission. The candidates for the exam, on the other hand, would only be briefed on the day, and had two days to prepare.

[Finally, the day to prove that they too could be the pride of Balamb Garden was here.]

[As Cid finishes his speech, the sound of the Ragnarok coming in becomes gradually louder, until it touches down before the candidates and opens its boarding doors. After a moment, Nida emerges.]

Alright, everyone on board to the passenger room!

[To Espio, he adds:] You're in the cockpit with me. I want you to take her up, and once we're steady, I'll take the controls so you can go get your briefing.

Yeah, I gotcha.

[If Espio didn't deliberately restrain himself from such outbursts, there may well have been some sort of "EEE!" noise emitted. He's been practically in love with the Ragnarok, which is the best air/spaceship ever and he wants one of his own, and now he gets to fly it properly on an actual mission? Awesome.

But no. The closest anyone will get to see to him having some sort of geeky explosion is the fidgeting.]

And I come back up when the briefing's done, right?

[He's trying so hard not to run up the ramp.]

Grell walks up the ramp with the others, in her attire she usually wears while on duty as a reaper. It was easy to move in, and she hadn't really found a good costume for kicking backsides in.]
