i'm probably not gonna do a lot of the summoning stuff

[Anyone who stops by the Quad this afternoon will find Lea there, trying to perfect the art of getting his Frisbees to curve midflight and come back around to be caught. He's convinced he can do it if he gets just the right spin on them! In the meantime, though? Today's forecast is sunny with a chance of unexpected flying pointy object.

It's not against the rules, right? He definitely doesn't remember anything about Frisbee in the quad. So it's got to be okay.

Riku too, huh? [She's looking sad again. He reaches out to pat her shoulder briefly, then pulls his hand away again. Are you supposed to comfort girls like that? Or do you give them a hug, or what?

Advice required. He'll just have to fake knowing what he's doing.]

[It is becoming way to easy to accidentally spill things to Lea the Axel-look-A-Like. So she'lly just shake her head, putting on a not-very-convincing smile.]

Yeah, sure. [He plants his hands on his hips, leaning forward to look her right in the eye.]

You still look sad! You don't have to tell me if it's personal, it's your business, but something happened. Right?

[It chatches her off guard, and she backs up a little in surprise.]

I- uhm. Yes. But it'll be fine if I avoid them!

Okay. [Straightening back up, he drops his arms and gives her a smile.] There's a bunch of Rikus here, so that might be kind of tough! -- It's weird.

I think it's like... four? At least. But I don't know if one of them is the same guy who did something to you....

I don't know either, but I think I'll just avoid them all.

...Some of them are pretty cool. Like that one in the black coat, he's okay! And the guy who won't let you call him Riku.

I don't know if he actually came up with any other name yet, but he's definitely not the same one. Right?

[Data Riku is gonna have to deal with it because he fits the description okay B<]

Hey, Xion. Seriously. If you need help, I'll help you deal with him.

[Even if, assuming that guy's like the other Rikus, he can probably kick Lea's ass. Hopefully it'll all be talking.]

[Well, the hand on the shoulder trick works, and she looks at him, calmed a little now.]

Thank you. But if something happens I'll deal with it myself.

[Mostly because she doesn't know how good you are at fighting and if he mopped the floor with her... Well..]

Relieved that she's calming down, he smiles at her.]

Okay... but if that doesn't work, let me help, all right?

I don't want someone uninvolved to get hurt though..

Yeah, well, I don't want you to get hurt either! I mean, if he's gonna try something like that...

[He trails off. Riku didn't seem like the kind of guy who'd hurt somebody like Xion just for the hell of it. But she knows him better than Lea does, and she looks really scared.

Man, he hates not knowing what's going on. He re-starts where he left off.]

Then he needs his butt kicked, and two can do that better than one!

Yeah, you're right.

[She's just agreeing for the sake of agreeing. She's still not going to let him in on if a fight happens or not. Because for one, she'd still rather avoid it, and two, she doesn't want him to get hurt.]

[He hesitates, not sure if he can trust her agreeing so easily... but he doesn't have anything to call her out on, so he just nods, looking away and rubbing a hand over the back of his neck.]

...So, Xion. [He drops his hand, turning back to her, and gives her a grin.] What do you like to do in your free time?

I.. don't normally have free time, but after I finish my missions I usually eat sea-salt icecream on top of the clocktower.. But that was back home.

Sea-salt? Seriously? That's my favorite flavor! Isa and me always used to get it together back home.

[He laughs, embarrassed.] I don't think they sell it here, but I bet the home ec teacher could make some! I ought to ask him.

You really think so? And it's mine too!

[Not that she's.. ever had any different flavours, but Xion lights up at the mention of it anyway.

Because if so, she needs to some how procure some for when Axel and Roxas arrive!]

... Hey, do you like the ocean? They've got some great beaches down by Balamb Town. I can show you sometime! It's a little cold to swim now, but it's still pretty.
