Is there anyone here that is versed in Realian maintenance? My superior officer used my emergency override code before I was brought here and I would like to make sure that there is no lasting damage.

Realian maintenance is a highly specialized field and is distinct from human health care. I doubt that any one person would be skilled in both.

It's standard equipment for combat Realians where I was stationed. Are they difficult to come by here?

I don't really know; I only recently started thinking about getting something similar.

... I'm pretty sure I've never heard of a combat Realian here, though. [And Mikuru's been here a long time!]

But if you have never heard of a Realian here, does that mean that this is primarily a human training center?

[Mikuru's looking more for her own equipment rather than school stuff she'd have to give back, but his question seems a bit more important.] Yes. It was just humans at first, but with people from other worlds coming in, they've opened it up to anyone.

That was generous of them, though I am surprised they don't have a separate program for people with superhuman capabilities.

Well, a lot of the classes are useful for anyone no matter what their species, like leadership and history... Maybe they don't have a separate program because everyone's really different, and people keep coming and going, so a class that helps one person might not be as useful if they disappear.

[She shrugs.] I'm still a cadet, so I'm just guessing.

It still seems strange to group people with enhanced abilities with people who are less specialized, but I do see your point. It would be difficult to arrange a program suited specifically to Observational Realians or cyborgs given the situation.
