[This place doesn't make any sense, as far as Arthur is concerned. And while interrogating what faculty he could taught him a little more about this whole school thing, it took a great deal of calm on his part not to draw his sword on them as his kidnappers. The fact that they were so congenial about the whole thing is the main reason he hasn't threatened anyone. Yet.
It wasn't until after a humbling talk with the headmaster that he calmed down and really began to look at his situation. After which he began wandering Balamb Garden, feeling unusually lost in more ways than one. A king without his kingdom, his people, was nothing more than a man. The only consolation he had was Excalibur, sheathed at his side. A small comfort, but a comfort nonetheless.
So that leaves one (1) King of Camelot, in full chainmail, a bright red cape, and a crown, wandering around exploring the place. And occasionally asking questions, because displacement aside, he's not exactly up to date on the modern technology.]

So she saunters up to him, pushing her hair back over her shoulder.] Well don't you look dashing in all of... that. Do your people pride themselves on being as obvious as possible?
no subject
What are you?
no subject
She continues to smile and fold her arms under her chest.]
I am an Alternian troll- not one of your human fairy tale trolls! I am far more superior than something like that.
[She starts to circle him, knowing just how jumpy he appears to be.]
... You are a human, riiiiiiiight?
no subject
[If she hadn't already pointed out she was a different kind of troll, he would have been especially incredulous- she was nothing like the sort of troll he knew.
Still, he follows her movements, turning to keep her in front of him.]
Yes, of course. As for you, Alternian or otherwise [whatever that meant], trolls are still creatures of magic.
no subject
[She stops after making a full circle around him and looks at him up and down. Her eyebrow raises again and her lips twitch.]
What does that have to do with anything? Assuming that's even correct, of course.
no subject
[Oh wait. This isn't Camelot.
But the arrival letter implied the attitude of the people toward magic was the same here. As expected, of course.]
Don't tell me magical creatures are allowed to live here.
no subject
She snorts.] You should watch your tongue before you go and irk someone enough to cut it off. That sword of yours won't get you very far here, especially considering just how new you are.
no subject
[And she was starting to irk him, but at the same time, this wasn't his kingdom. Starting a fight unprovoked on someone else's territory wouldn't be too wise. Slowly, he let his hand drop from his sword, the closest to a truce he was planning to give her.]
What is your purpose here?
no subject
But she shrugs, uncrossing her arms.] Which answer would you like? My personal one or the one they trained me for?
no subject
Both, if you don't mind.
no subject
Their purpose for me here is to fight and protect this world, but I'm just trying to fine a way back home.
no subject
Fair enough. But I'd better not see you causing any trouble. This may not be Camelot, but that won't stop me from protecting the people here from your kind should you harm anyone.
[That's right, he just went there.]
no subject
[She suddenly bursts out into high pitched laughter. She even begins to bowl over, holding her stomach as blue-tinted tears form in her eyes. After about two minutes she straightens back up and exhales, still snickering.]
Tell me, how many people do you see here wearing my uniform? [I.E. the SeeD uniform.]
no subject
At her question, he glanced briefly over her outfit.]
Is that supposed to mean something to me?
no subject
[She holds up two fingers to further prove her point. Stiiiiiiiill smiling that fangy grin.]
One! It means I've been here longer than you! Which means if I was planning on terrorizing the poor, poooooooor people here I would have already done it.
And two, it means I'm a SeeD. Obviously, you don't know what that is, but really all it means to you is that I'm your superior!
[She settles her hand on her hip.] So drop that cocky bitch attitude because it means nothing to me.
no subject
Well okay, he vaguely remembers some mentions of SeeDs, but he doesn't really care in this case. It takes him a moment to keep his pride in check, and as such his temper.]
Regardless of your position, of anything you say, I will not trust a troll. What I told you still stands.
no subject
She tilts her head questionably, still looking very coy.]
You've never met an Alternian troll before. What makes you think I'm anything like the trolls you know of?
no subject
You're clearly not human. What else could you be if not a creature of magic?
no subject
no subject
You don't deny it.
no subject
So you really should stop flooding my ears with your drivel because you just sound like an idiot!
no subject
That is- ridiculous. Even if it's true that you're from... some other planet, I've never met a creature capable of speech that didn't use magic, or was created from it. If you claim to be something neither human nor magic, you're going to have to explain.
no subject
But she heaves a sigh and pushes some of her bangs away from her face.] If you really want an explanation I'd reeeeeeeeally rather not do it here out in a hallway.
no subject
I'm not going anywhere alone with you. Whatever you have to say, it can be said right here.
