[This place doesn't make any sense, as far as Arthur is concerned. And while interrogating what faculty he could taught him a little more about this whole school thing, it took a great deal of calm on his part not to draw his sword on them as his kidnappers. The fact that they were so congenial about the whole thing is the main reason he hasn't threatened anyone. Yet.

It wasn't until after a humbling talk with the headmaster that he calmed down and really began to look at his situation. After which he began wandering Balamb Garden, feeling unusually lost in more ways than one. A king without his kingdom, his people, was nothing more than a man. The only consolation he had was Excalibur, sheathed at his side. A small comfort, but a comfort nonetheless.

So that leaves one (1) King of Camelot, in full chainmail, a bright red cape, and a crown, wandering around exploring the place. And occasionally asking questions, because displacement aside, he's not exactly up to date on the modern technology.]

[Although Tom's used to most things by now, a guy in chainmail is not one of them. So he makes his way over, stuffing his hands in his pockets, and gives the other guy a slight nod.]

Hey... you alright? [He'd add "kid," but the guy actually seems to be his age. Huh.]

[He turned to fully face the stranger who addressed him, a touch warily. His hand rested on the hilt of his sword, but it had been there for a while now, a small comfort if nothing else.]

I was recently told that I've been magically transported to another world by a sorceress, and there is no known way to undo it. I've had better days.

[Coming out of a hallway she spots him and raises an eyebrow at the ridiculous getup that makes him stand out like a sore thumb.

So she saunters up to him, pushing her hair back over her shoulder.] Well don't you look dashing in all of... that. Do your people pride themselves on being as obvious as possible?

[oh god what is that thing. He goes still and moves his sword hand to the hilt of his sword, but doesn't draw it, but if his staring is any indication he's Not That Okay with this.]

What are you?

[His motion towards his sword doesn't bother her. It isn't like he could do her any real damage. Although, she'd certainly invite him to try.

She continues to smile and fold her arms under her chest.]

I am an Alternian troll- not one of your human fairy tale trolls! I am far more superior than something like that.

[She starts to circle him, knowing just how jumpy he appears to be.]

... You are a human, riiiiiiiight?

Action; because she knows Merlin and she befriends everyone?

[And Rapunzel is wandering as well, a rare moment without Eugene attached at her hip as she walks, spotting the new arrival as he did not seem familiar to her. She thus decided to approach him to see if he was all right and possibly needed help finding his way around.]

Um, hi? I'm Rapunzel, are you new?

A troll?

[If she hadn't already pointed out she was a different kind of troll, he would have been especially incredulous- she was nothing like the sort of troll he knew.

Still, he follows her movements, turning to keep her in front of him.]

Yes, of course. As for you, Alternian or otherwise [whatever that meant], trolls are still creatures of magic.

Did I stutter?

[She stops after making a full circle around him and looks at him up and down. Her eyebrow raises again and her lips twitch.]

What does that have to do with anything? Assuming that's even correct, of course.

Oh good, friends. He needs those.

[He didn't see her right away, though it was a pleasant surprise when he did; she was possibly the closest thing to a normal person (what he considered normal, at least) he'd seen since his arrival. Not to mention quite pretty.]

Yes, I suppose I am.

[And since she's a pretty woman, she gets a teeny bit of the chivalry treatment. He gives a small bow.]

Circumstances aside, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am Arthur Pendragon, of Camelot.

[Oh wait. This isn't Camelot.

But the arrival letter implied the attitude of the people toward magic was the same here. As expected, of course.]

Don't tell me magical creatures are allowed to live here.

[Vriska has never considered her kind to be magical. The only thing she's ever considered magical was her God Tier abilities.

She snorts.] You should watch your tongue before you go and irk someone enough to cut it off. That sword of yours won't get you very far here, especially considering just how new you are.

[She smiles, biting her bottom lip lightly for a moment before tucking some hair behind her ear, her long braid swishing slightly at the movement, down near her ankles.]

Oh. Um, it's nice to meet you too, Arthur! So, I take it you talked to the Headmaster and know the basics. Were you looking for anything or anyone in particular? Maybe I know if one of your friends is here? Or show you around?

[Merlin's not sure whether he should be relieved or start panicking at Arthur's appearance. Admittedly he had missed the prat (just a little bit). But the fact that Arthur was now standing in a school filled with all sorts of magical-looking devices, where classes on magic were taught, and trolls were wondering around freely was, in Merlin's opinion, more than enough reason to start hyperventilating. So it was with what might be described as a high pitch squeak that Merlin calls Arthur's name.]

Arthur! [Merlin pauses, and looks up at Arthur's head.] ...why are you wearing a crown?

[Was that Merlin just now? Because it sounded too squeaky to be Merlin.

But lo and behold, there he was. He grinned, relief washing over him at the sight of a familiar face. That plus the fact that this was Merlin, he didn't really take much note of that silly question.]

Merlin! Thank god, I was beginning to think I was alone in this insane place! [He pats one of his shoulders before holding it.] Are you all right? Did you just find yourself here, too?

[Please forgive Sharpay's scrutiny of his outfit.]

Perhaps you should watch yours, as well.

[And she was starting to irk him, but at the same time, this wasn't his kingdom. Starting a fight unprovoked on someone else's territory wouldn't be too wise. Slowly, he let his hand drop from his sword, the closest to a truce he was planning to give her.]

What is your purpose here?

[Her smile returns again at that.

But she shrugs, uncrossing her arms.] Which answer would you like? My personal one or the one they trained me for?

[Past his first impression, he notices her hair- he'd never seen hair so long. But that wasn't important right now.]

I... [His entire kingdom, perhaps.] I'm not sure. If anyone else were here, they should have at least noticed my presence by now. [He wasn't exactly used to being unrecognized, especially when dressed like this.]

Thank you for the offer, but there is no need. I can find my way around. [More or less.]

[Nope, she gets a mildly offended look.]

[He didn't really like her smile, especially when combined with her attitude.]

[Merlin smiles weakly. Okay, Arthur is looking happy to see him, that's a good thing...but oh gods, what is he going to do about Arthur being here?!]

Pretty much, I've been here for a month... [still giving that crown an odd look.] Insane is...definitely a good word for it.

Camelot sounds familiar though.....I think that was where Merlin said he was from. [But oh, this must be one of the people he had told her about. So she shouldn't tell him about his magic, for fear of getting him in trouble.]

If you're sure you're not lost. I don't mind helping if you need it.

A month? [Squinting at him, still oblivious to his confusion.] Merlin, that's impossible. I just saw you. Before all this, I mean.

Their purpose for me here is to fight and protect this world, but I'm just trying to fine a way back home.

[His eyes snap back to her at the mention of Merlin.]

Merlin is here? You've seen him? Where is he?
