[This week is BREAKFAST WEEK, and since Pinkie pretty much eats sugar for breakfast, everyone is going to catch random cotton candy clouds!

No, this is not a trick or joke! Seems like Balamb Garden is still plagued with weird events. The trees have green trunks and brown leaves, the flowers are singing seasonal songs, and Pinkie is on a trampoline with a large net. That last part is not so out of the ordinary, however.]

EVERYBODY! [BOUNCE] GRAB A-- [BOUNCE] TRAMPOLINE AND-- [BOUNCE] NET!

I get to help out Chammy?! WOOOOOOOO! [FISTPUMPS!!] Whacha need?!

Well, so long as you are catching clouds, I am being harassed by a particularly irritating one.

[He steps into the classroom, revealing a particularly grey thunderhead looming over him. As the top of it brushes against the door, the cloud shivers, then dumps about three dozen hard-boiled eggs on the hapless demon.]

While this was handy at first, I'm running out of uses for the eggs!

That's EGG-STRAORDINARY!

[She readies her net with a gleam in her eye.]

NEVER FEAR! PINKIE PIE IS HERE!

[And off she goes, bouncing on the trampoline, swinging down mid air to catch that cloud!



...only for it to move away.

Now Champloo is in her net. Oops.]

EGG-SCUSE ME! [Of course she's laughing at her bad puns.]

It looks like after that mistake, you have egg on your face!

[It's hard to really be upset over these circumstances. It's not like any harm's been done. And it IS funny.]

I thought YOU did?

[Oh, the jokes they could crack....LOL]

To the contrary, Pinkie! I have experienced a net gain!

[And they can get a cheap laugh out of this -- right up until the cloud drops another half-dozen on their heads.]

[Blinks and looks up. Slowly, she crawls on Champloo and...SWINGS HER NET!]

GOTCHA! WOOOOO! EGG-XCELLENT!

[She's by no means heavy, so this doesn't even make him twitch.]

Pinkie, while strange and curious events are quite your style, I can't help but feel like you might know a little something about this particular sort of madness.

[In that case, she'll just stay there!]

Huh? Oh, I dunno what's going on! I thought YOU did!

I am flattered that you think so highly of me! But I'm taking the sight of these clouds a little more roughly than you are.

....really? [She starts to squint at the clouds, then closes one eye.] They look pretty fluffy to me! They taste pretty YUMMY, too!

I admit I am somewhat concerned about their composition. Even in the Netherworld, milk came from cows, and eggs came from chickens -- neither chocolate nor cooked, I might add. These ingredients have not been given their proper respect in this form!

...is that a BAD thing? [Because that all sounds pretty cool to her!] It's been pretty BORING around here, anyway!

Which is better? A cupcake I have made for you, or one that has simply appeared out of nowhere?

Oh MAN! That's a doozie!

[She thinks about that.]

Which one is faster?!

Neither of them can move, Pinkie, they are cupcakes.

Then let me put it to you another way: If a cupcake simply appears, without ever being baked, where is the heart in its making? Where is the joy of making it?

WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST SAY THAT?!

The heart and joy is all in the person eating it! DUH!

But the baker takes joy in its appreciation! Otherwise, she would never give a cupcake to another person to enjoy!

But cupcakes are for EVERYONE! They bring happiness to mouths and tummies!

And do you take no delight in seeing others enjoy a cupcake you have made for them? Does giving a person a gift warm your heart no more than gazpacho?

ANYWAY, as long as they like it, who cares!

Suppose a friend desires chocolate muffins. What do you do?
