It's been quite awhile, Garden. This time, I pose a new question to you: why is it you treasure peace so much and yet willingly forego negotiation without a thought unless it could benefit you in the long run? Do you humans believe your own ideals so superior that you must battle to prove so?

If you were to think about it, if humans weren't such a barbaric species, perhaps you wouldn't be preyed upon by my kind.

Humans interest me over others as they are typically what my kind preys upon. They make little sense, preaching about love and friendship and peace and yet being so quick to take up the sword against one another.

As for what I am, saying that would give away my identity. Perhaps I will tell you in the future, but I am most definitely not human.

Humanity has always been like that. It's in their nature to feud and target anyone superior to them.

Peace is a word that means nothing to them.

So it would seem. It seems they cannot stand any form of competition, and yet, sameness is far too boring.

And yet they have killed one another over something as simple as jealousy or greed--over mere scraps when they do not truly want.

What about those who have murdered simply for disliking someone? Or out of envy? I'd hardly call that a reason.

Most of those "barbaric" people have at least outgrown playing with their food.

Peace isn't the only thing that's treasured. Most battles aren't just about ideals, either.

Hardly, I am simply curious about the nature of humans.

Though, how do you explain those who manage to survive and are in fact chosen over those more capable, thus tainting the gene pool? It would seem more that this is "survival of the barely fit."
