Second red and blue [Action]

[Hello, Garden.

Today is a pretty normal day, despite all the things going around.

The birds sing, the sun is up, and Clark Kent is walking around, headed for his Basic English class. The exams are almost here, so he has a lot of work to do. He wants all of his students to pass, and he's doing his best to teach them properly.

So yes, pretty normal day.

Well, except for the fact that Clark's upper body seems to be completely invisible as he walks, and he doesn't seem to be noticing...]

[OOC: Clark power-swapped with Danny Phantom this week! I am, sadly, still unfamiliar with that fandom so I am getting most my information from the respective wiki. Please, do tell me if I get something wrong.

Pffft. Awesome!

[He might not have noticed, but Kaldur certainly did. He was taking the day to visit some of the classes, late as he entered he was not attending yet, but wanted to learn.

But it was very hard indeed to not notice someone walking...like that. Missing such a large portion of their body. He's staring. It's rude. But he cannot help it.]

[Being caught doing something like that only makes you feel more embarrassed.]

I apologize for the rude behavior, sir. But I've never seen someone [missing half of their body and not concerned by it]...like you. I'll be less discourteous.

lol!

[ When you can't officially take a class, it's hard to find something to do on your own. Was wandering around to see if anything caught her fancy.

... Well it seems like SOMEONE certainly did. She was paused in place as she just stared. Stared at this man who's half invisible.

You.. seem to be missing something, Sir.

[ Aerith has been seeing some more unusual things lately--but actually her attention is solely on her feet right now, because one of those unusual things is taking place all around her.

The stray flowers, if mysterious, had been a scarce surprise during the last week. Now they were coming in full force, springing up as she walked, and if she wasn't careful (or, as one plant would prove now, even if she was)--

She might trip.

Straight into someone, knocking them both over, and Aerith's already apologizing with a bit of humor to cover up the embarrassment, ]
Sorry, green thumb's giving me two left feet!

[ but then she registers that she's speaking only to a pair of legs. Oh, they're dressed fairly nicely, but that's not the point, the point is she's talking to a disembodied pair of legs, she knocked someone's legs clean off them--!

Aerith's wits don't catch onto the absurdity of that idea fast enough to stop a startled yelp from her as she scrambles back to her feet, looking around as though to find the missing upper half. ]

[ With the direction the sound comes from, Aerith's eyes fasten on the legs again. ] I'm fine, but he's--! [ --wait. That voice was coming from... her surprised look rises to about eye level. ] You're...? Are... are you okay, sir? There's--your legs. [ She makes a weak gesture at them. They don't seem to be attached to anything.]

[She spots him and seems most unsurprised]

I believe you lost something...

[Rider was just walking her way to class, when she happens to saw.... a man with half of his body missing.

It took all her might to not shriek and cover her mouth.

[She nervously shook her head.]

You! You're only half a person!

[identity profile] genomorphed.livejournal.com 2011-08-26 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
What the--?!

[Conner's stopped to stare at the uh set of legs and waist that walks by. He closes his eyes, squeezes them shut and then reopens them. Nope. Legs and waist are still there...]

[Danny has been trying to avoid touching most anything he can, given that he seems to have developed a recent habit for somehow breaking everything with the gentlest touch. He's been walking around carefully, watching out for anything around him, hunched over slightly and wringing his hands nervously.

He does, however, slowly come to a stop when he notices a pair of legs walking beside him. Just legs.]

Uhhhh...

[identity profile] totallynotaspaz.livejournal.com 2011-09-02 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
Oh.

...Oh! This--part of you is invisible, right? Is that what's happened?
