[Max opens the door to let Rikku in, and immediately hands her a device that's slightly larger than her own Nano-Tab and a fire red in color. She's getting riiight to the point, knowing her friend likes tech a lot.]

Directory and map of the Garden's on it, with a locator. Camera function, too. Since phone functions don't work here, I added in flashlight capabilities and trackers.

[She hands her some small red things, resembling a penny.]

Put 'em on something and activate them, then they'll feed back a location to where it is. So far, it just has the Garden map and a vague thing for Town. Everything else will be kinda vague, blipping for a hot-cold search, till I get more info to mod it further. Put some games I had with my stuff on it, too.

[Rikku takes the discs and the Nano-Tab, pressing some buttons]

So the discs are games, or are they games and a locator?

[The N-tab screen lights up and Angry Birds shows up.]

[Amused Max is a mused. It's hard not to get distracted by Angry Birds.]

Not yet. Your's would answer to a different length than mine, anyways, ensuring for personal preferential location and not disruption by other means. I could always option a sync to where they could read both, later on.

I get the feeling this is gonna be insanely useful.

Evening after the auction, but it was more like hangin' out with a friend. I really just bid so he wouldn't get stuck in an unschway sitch and then he insisted.

Aw, that's sweet. I think that's what Jecht was doing, during the auction. At least, that's what I keep telling people so they'll shut up about it.

We found some new tech, grabbed some dinner, pretty simple and nice.

[She makes a small noise of "people, really?" and rolls her eyes.]

They're just jealous you had a war going on for you. Some people only got one bid.

I know, and I mean, that's gotta really make you feel lousy, being only worth one bid, but still. Gossip's no fun!

[She agrees, but gives a slight shrug.] Yeah, but they knew what could happen if they went up there -- and at least someone bid. Been even worse if no one had.

Still no reason to act like a lil' twip about it.
