It's nice to be back. This is a rather late introduction back considering I'm already settled in back in my room and my classroom has long been set-up to my tastes.
But I suppose an introduction should be in order.
Afternoon, this is Dick Grayson. I'll be one of the known instructors for (MOV 101) Military Movement along with (WTR 402) Advanced Weapons Training: Blunt Weapons. You may call me how you like. I prefer to go by Dick really. It's not the most professional sounding, but I'm pretty informal. Do please refrain from any dick jokes behind my back. I do love a good joke, and having them told behind my back just wouldn't do.
I'd like to give a general announcement that I am always available if you need any help whatsoever, so don't feel shy or intimidated. Perhaps the biggest trouble is locating me at times.
That being said I have one more thing to say which is aimed at two people in particular.
Timothy Drake. Damian Wayne. I'd like to see you two as soon as possible. Preferably not at the same time if possible. Thank you.
By the way, there is no opt out option. If you don't come to me, I will come to you.
-Dick Grayson
[For the rest of the day, Dick will spend most of his time reacquainting himself with the Garden. He'll probably be mostly in the cafeteria though since that tends to be a usually populated area. And it means he can probably chat with students and other instructors. He seems to be fond of the uniforms since he'll be wearing his most of the time.
He's also contemplating things about back home. It's been a year after all. Things were so calm before he left. That, and Bruce had just returned to them. They even got together as a family, or who was available in the family. It makes him a little disheartened to know that something like that won't be occurring here anytime soon. He's still pleased to see a lot of new faces around at the Garden though. He always enjoys new faces and meeting new people, so he's excited.
Other then that, you'll catch Dick wandering around a lot. He'll be in his room a few times or the classroom. But it's easiest to find him in the cafeteria or the second floor.]

So he was in a little pain; not much, really, but the fight with Damian had left him bruised and just a little battered. No broken bones this time, no comas, no nothing that would be permanent. Superboy had helped with that, before it got even worse, but Tim was still covered in cuts and bruises.
At least he knew Damian was as well. But now wasn't the time to think of that; he's looking for Dick. He started out near the dorms, then went to some of the classrooms, then went to the cafeteria. Seeing him there, he should have thought to do that first.]
Dick! [And he slams into him with a hug. A painful hug, but a hug anyway.]
no subject
He's more then happy to know that you guys were already here when he returned back after leaving the Garden for a year, although he's already gotten a gist of what transpired before his return and being settled in. Word moves fast when you're looking for it.
Needless to say, he isn't all too impressed with either of you two. But that doesn't mean he doesn't love you any less.]
Ti-augh! [Ouch. Not what he was expecting.] Woah, come on, you're going to kill me if you hug me any harder.
no subject
Sorry. I'm just really glad you're here.
[Looks up and smiles, black eye not withstanding.]
no subject
You might want to hold back on saying that. We can be brotherly in a bit, but I need to talk to you about your black eye. And you fighting with Damian. [Pause.] Again.

It's nothing.

Damian limped his way through nearly every area of the complex, until eventually finding him his classroom. He stopped dead in the doorway, just staring. He was really here.]
Grayson. [He attempted to mask his limp as he approached (somewhere along the course of the fight his leg had twisted in a direction it shouldn't have), his hoodie drawn up so it masked his face.]
no subject
He immediately gets up and briskly makes his way over to Damian.] You're hurt and you didn't think to get it looked at. [It's more of a statement then anything.
He doesn't wait for an answer or even bothers asking, but lifts Damian up. He's firm but gentle, seeing as you're injured.] So do I get to hear what you two fought about?
no subject
...I don't remember. [It was the honest truth. He knew they were fighting about something, but for the life of him can't recall the specifics.] It was Drake, isn't that enough?
no subject
I'll ask Tim then. I'm sure he remembers it. [Because Tim hates forgetting details usually.] Can't you two at least be civil. One of you guys provoked the other somehow.

What is comic book time OTL;;;
I'm actually trying to figure out a timeline. B&R only spans a few months, I'm pretty sure.
I wish that Comic time was easier to figure out xDDD;
Does it help Zombie batman was either December 21st or 22nd?
A little. It's still a butt. BT

dick is going to hate this cadet, i bet.]
Dick jokes behind your back? Underhanded as hell.
Dick jokes in front of you oughta do just fine then. Just hope the actual rod ain't grey~.
Re: [bbs]
Isn't it? It's like they don't think I've heard them before.
You're describing a rod of metal. [Right over his head.]
Re: [bbs]
... sounds to me like you ain't even heard this one before.
Gray. Y'know, your last name. Your first name. Unless you mean your cock is metal, then I don't wanna be the brunt of that. [Shame, too, because this guy might even be kind of hot. ~Who knows.~]
[bbs]
No one usually makes a joke with my last name. It's usually a stab at Dick. It isn't. I'm pretty sure I'm 100% human. [You haven't even met him yet, so you'll have to guess by his voice.]

You look familiar. Do I know you? [Bart's only ever seen Dick as Nightwing, so even though he remembers his face, he can't quite place it without the mask.]
no subject
If you know Tim, then you at least know me by association. Does that help any?
no subject
[His face falls.] I don't know. Who are you?
no subject
I'm Tim's brother. Does that ring any bells?

Of course, seeing someone familiar completely negated the negative aspect of a bajillion fliers. Immediately setting them on the nearest table, Tom grins as he makes his way over.] Dick! Hey! Long time no see!
no subject
[He's going to pull you into the friendliest bear hug ever.] I just returned recently. I've been kind of running around getting settled back in, so I was scarce. But I have plenty of time now to bother everyone. You included.
no subject
They're kind of insane this year. [To prove his point, he snatches a flier off the top of the stack and hands it over. Guess who got nominated for Homecoming King?]
no subject
[Snorts.] Homecoming was pretty insane when I was around. Has it gotten that much worst while I was gone? [He eyes the fliers with an amused expression.] Hah.

um. been meaning to tag this for daaaaaysss :(
But she does intend to find and talk to him, even if she doesn't have very high hopes for the encounter, unfortunately. It's worth at least being acquainted, right?
So, excuse her while she just sort of hangs out around the classroom like some sort of creepy stalker in wait- a pink-haired one in a miniskirt, that is. ]
It's fine bby <3
Although he wasn't expecting someone in the classroom when he comes in. He's carrying his planner along with a folder that's probably class related. Or school related at the least.
He already could tell this was probably a business endeavor, so she's not a student.] Were you waiting long?
no subject
No. [ Her hand drops from resting on her belt as she steps forward. ] You're Instructor Grayson?
no subject
That's right. I usually just go by Dick. [Especially if you're going to be a colleague and not a student. He does hold his hand out to you.] You are?
