At this time in my home, many would be celebrating a star festival... Tanabata.

One would write their wish on a small piece of paper and hang it on bamboo. The specifics aside from that vary, but I suppose I am wondering... What sort of wish would everyone make?

[Mikuru sits typing at her terminal for a while trying to explain that seeing as the aliens came in a time many years before her own yet there was no word of the aliens in her history classes, things might have worked out fine, but she just ends up both confusing herself and starting to doubt it.]

Do you think if we both write it down, the wish will be stronger? [Alas, by her time they're not as strong on traditions...]

But I always liked learning about them in class... I'd love to see one for myself!

I know our society's come a long way, but I think it's a shame how much we've lost along the way.
