Oh well!

Instead, Kiden can be found the quad, enjoying the sun--yes, she actually does enjoy nice days!--and people watching. It's obvious by the constant twitching of her fingers that she's either bored or itching to be somewhere else.

She actually doesn't have a cigarette; instead, she has a large notepad open in her lap, but only half her attention is on it. In it are her WTR101 notes; it's the only class she won't skip and probably the only one she really cares about. Outlined inside are the properties of a variety of weapons, as well as sketches; they're not very good, having been made quickly, but they're clean...and noticeable.

Come bother her, she'll be grateful insult you, probably. Or find her later, if you're the instructors whose class she's skipping.... ]

[So Zephyr should be in class, except, well, enchanting's been cancelled. Forever, apparently. Not that he's really complaining, seeing as that means he's actually got a free period now.

And what's he do with this newly found free time? Zephyr's off to the quad to chill out; he's got a bag of chips and a can of soda with him. When he spots Kiden, though, Zephyr walks over and takes a seat next to her, plopping down on the bench with little ceremony.]

[ She watches him make his way up, eyeing those chips. Part of being a teenager is, after all, an endless appetite for greasy things. But whatever, she can get her own. His name bubbles up easily into her mind: Zephyr. Didn't that mean like, 'soft breeze' or something?

[If Tom were aware she was skipping class, he might've said something. As it was, however, he couldn't even be bothered to keep his own schedule. At the moment, he's taping flyers to wherever he can find free room.

They're all ridiculously pink and glittery "Vote Sharpay Evans and Tom Bronson for Homecoming Queen and King!" ones too... Tom can't help sighing as he finishes the last one, wrings his hands, and then stops as he notices Kiden.]

[ She glances at the flyers he's putting down; all she sees are pink and sparkles. ]

You advertising a strip joint, or a My Little Pony conference?

Homecoming, actually. [He sighs, stuffing his glitterfied hands into his pockets] Turns out I got nominated for Homecoming King---and Sharpay insisted on the flyers.

Danny is a little bit unsure what to think of you, Kiden, after you lied to him about brain spores. So he's kind of keeping his distance right now, staring at you from a short distance.

[ Kiden sees him staring; he's hard to miss. She smirks, slow and lazy, and even offers him a wave. Like the cat that got the cream. Provoking him? Probably. ]

[ Yeah. "Oops." If Kiden's fooling anyone into thinking her absences from class are anything other than intentional, it's not Claire-- a fact that should probably be obvious instantly when the woman makes an appearance in the quad, heading right towards her.

[ She does, but the only way she's getting away from Claire would be to No-Time it out of there, but she has a strict, no-showing-anyone-the-powers policy. So instead, she shuts her notebook and braces for impact. ]

[ We're also skipping the niceties today as Claire stops a short distance away, her own notebook held between her arm and body. Enough is enough, girl. ]

Cadet Nixon, you do realize that coming to class isn't... optional, don't you?

[He's not a teacher, but he is a D.C. member with a lot of time on his hands since he's taking half of the usual coursework this semester.]
