[One may or may not notice a dark figure standing under a tree, watching other mill about to their classes. The population of cadets have nearly doubled, and the percentage of SeeD and instructors has also grown at a rate he hasn't seen in a while. Shadow's reappearance will certainly cause a stir.

Not like he cared.

With his mission over, he now has far too much time on his hands, so he is currently looking over the Balamb Newsletter.]

It's gotten a lot better.

What's your opinion on the Almasy thing?

[Thus far, his own opinion seems to be in the minority -- and yet, oddly, it's the one being acted on. Better to get a feel for the prevailing winds, so when push comes to shove (and he's sure it will), he knows what to expect.]

Almasy's still around? [raises an eyebrow. That subject...actually hits close to home for the black hedgehog. He read the whole newsletter by the time Edge had come, yet his opinion had evolved quite quickly.]

Unless he's up to his old games again, I don't see anything wrong with him being here.

[Finished with classes for the day! Tom was simply passing by Shadow until he noticed something in the tree's shadow. Was it---it is him.] Hey! It's been a while.

Bronson. [Nods softly to the other, closing the newsletter.] Too long, it seems.

Of course. [Smirks] It went smoothly enough. Weren't you sent on one?

A while back, yeah---but then Garden's Boxing teacher retired, so they asked me to fill in temporarily. [sheepish shrug] I've been here ever since.

Boxing... [That does sound right up his alley.] How's that going for you? [Shadow hadn't thought of what to do in between missions. Teaching wasn't exactly his thing, or so he thinks.]
